Hay guise! So I'm back with one of the most random things ever. I had to do this assignment for a history teacher that I absolutely hate, but I feel like it turned out pretty good so I decided I'd post it here. Its really random, but if you like samurais and want to llearn about them then read! Lol it has a lot of information in it so if you're not really kn the mood to learn I would suggest passing. Lol but anyways! I'm distracting from the story! Now read and review after because I love you guys and I'll give you a cupcake or cookie or whatever you want. :P ~M

Nick, a dark haired samurai, sighed as he sat to write an entry in his journal. He stared at the blank page before starting to write.

"Tomorrow I am to meet with a young samurai in training, Jeff, to teach him our duties. I must discuss with him the rules and understandings of what it truly means to be a samurai. He shall learn bushido, the strict code of honor, and that if any rules should be broken, he should be prepared to commit harakiri, a form of suicide that involves using his own sword to slit himself open. We have these strict rules in place because of our high position and without them, something might happen to bring shame to one of us. I will teach him that because of our position and honor, we are the only ones permitted to ride horses, carry swords, and have a last name, his being Sterling. Jeff Sterling. We carry two swords, each hanging on our left sides as symbols of power; a katana and a wakizashi. He will learn to be fearless and to fight to protect the land of his daimyo. As a samurai, he will also have to learn that he has responsibilities other than fighting and protecting. Some of these include cooking, being in charge of supplies, looking after religious services, having strict self discipline, and acting as an honorous role model towards the other citizens. This last one is possibly one of the most important of his duties. It is a lot for him to learn, but to be samurai is to to do all of this. If he can do this, he can become a good samurai."

Nick sighed once again as he set the book aside and prepared himself for a night of sleep.
