Chapter One: Famous!
One day, the guys of Big Time Rush were waiting for a phone call. It was a very important phone call. When that phone rings, they will know whether they will be going to Rocque Records and be a band. Just then, the phone rang.
James grabbed the phone first.
"Hello?" James said breathlessly. The other guys couldn't tell what the person on the other end was saying, but James's facial expression said it all.
"Ok, ok thanks. Bye." James said excitedly. When he hung up the phone, he set it down on the stone coffee table and started dancing all around.
"We're famous! We're famous!" He kept chanting. Then all the guys joined in, chanting that. But then, Mama Knight walked in.
"Hey, what's everyone so happy about?" She asked them.
"Can't you tell by our chant Mom? We're famous!" Kendall told her. Mama Knight dropped her basket of laundry she was carrying in surprise and started dancing with them.
"So, where are we moving to?" Mama Knight asked.
"The Palm Woods!" Carlos said excitedly.
The next day, they were at the Palm Woods. James pointed out everything important he saw.
"Hot place, hot girls, and-" Everyone gasped. "Pool!" The guys dropped all their stuff in the lobby and ran out to the pool. They were lounging on the lounge chairs, when a girl walked up to them.
"Hi, you guys must be the new band here." She said.
"Hey!" They all said simultaneously.
"I'm Alyssa." She told them.
"Hi," Kendall told her. "I'm Kendall, that's Carlos, that's Logan, and that's James."
"Hey," She said to them. "If you guys want, I can show you around the Palm Woods, and then we could, like, hang out or something."
"Sure, we'd love to." James said quickly, before anyone else could say anything. "But, let's hang out first." James smiled at her.
"Ok!" Alyssa giggled. But just then, an odd girl walked up to them.
"How dare you?" She said, and then slapped Logan across the face. Then she walked away.
"What just happened?" Logan wondered.
"Oh, that was Destiny," Alyssa told him. "She is practicing for an audition, she tries out for a lot of roles."
"Oh, ok, cool!" Logan said.
The guys and Alyssa were hanging out in the guys apartment, when Mama Knight walked up.
"Who is this?" She said in surprise. Mama Knight had not expected the boys to make new friends so quickly.
"Mrs. Knight, meet Alyssa." James introduced them to each other. It was obvious on James's face that he liked Alyssa.
"Ok, well, hi. You kids have fun." Mama Knight smiled and turned away.
James, Carlos, Logan, Kendall, and Alyssa went to the pool. They were going to swim. James held Alyssa's hand when they jumped in. But when Alyssa lost James's hand, she didn't know what to do.
Alyssa doesn't know how to swim.
