The Lucky Ones

They said magic could not be tamed

Magic is chaos

The curse of the lucky ones

Lucky is right

He was tiny

Abandoned

Alone in this world

I would not listen

We've tried before

Remember Macavity

I blocked my ears

Tried to ignore them

I helped him

I taught him

I showed him how to create life

How to save life

I did not understand

The knowledge he gleaned

How to devastate life

I truly thought I had succeeded

He rescued Old Deuteronomy

Amidst tears and laughter

My greatest triumph

His greatest sacrifice

Power had grown

It could not be captured

Inside a prison so small

Of course it broke free

Of course it destroyed

It could not co-exist

Good and evil

Order and chaos

Quaxo and Mistoffelees
