It's a tidbit of a story I think I want to work on...

"'With black hair as dark as night, they get what they want with all their might'," Peter read off.

Lady Neverland looked to Captain Hook and shook her head.

"'With eyes as green as the sea, their heart is as true as can be'."

Lady Neverland looked at Queen Coralie and shook her head again.

"'Their decisions are right and fair, but they have a secret as obvious as air.'"

Lady Neverland looked to Peter and shook her head again.

"No, none of you have what I'm looking for," she said softly. "Peter? Could you bring Smee, Sharky, Bones, as well as Stormy, Maria, Cubby, Izzy, and Jake over to me?"

"You want to see all of them? Even the kids?" Peter questioned.

"Yes, Peter. Even the kids."

"But they're so young!"

"I know. But we don't have a choice."

Peter nodded grimly. Smee, Sharky, and Bones stood in front of Lady Neverland. She wrinkled her nose slightly and shook her head.

"It is none of these men."

Peter then helped Stormy and Maria over.

"Maria has a small chance, but I don't think it's her."

Peter nodded before having Cubby and Izzy over.

"They too have a slim chance, but I don't think so."

Peter reluctantly pushed Jake forward and she gasped.

"It's you! You're the one!" Lady Neverland shouted while hugging the poor boy unexpectantly.

"What!" everyone but Jake shouted.

"But how can that be?" Peter questioned.

"'With hair black hair as dark as night, they get what they want with all their might'," Lady Neverland read off. "Laddy, what do you want?"

"I want Neverland safe from harm and kept the way it was," Jake said softly.

"And you get that, right?"

Jake nodded.

"And your hair is as black as night."

"But my hair has white at the ends!"

"The night sky isn't completely dark. There's light from the moon, the stars, and the reflections of the Neversea. The next clue said 'with eyes as green as the sea, their heart is as true as can be'."

"But my eyes aren't green!"

"No, but I'll get to that in a moment. Your heart is true, though. Is it not?"

"He has the truest heart in all of Neverland!" Smee spoke up, eliciting cheers of agreement from everyone else.

"And the last clue said 'their decisions are right and fair, but they have a secret as obvious as air'. Your decisions are always right and fair. You always do the right thing for all of Neverland, as well as being fair with your choices," Lady Neverland said.

"But, what secret could I have?" Jake asked, his voice shaking slightly.

"Your eyes don't look green, almost a hazel. But, with the right amount of magic, the glamour that's covering your true eye color will come off."

Jake closed his eyes when he felt the eye color change. And after he and Peter doing everything to keep his eye color a secret...

"Open them, Jake," Peter said softly. "It's alright. It's no use hiding it now."

Jake complied and opened his eyes. He almost closed them again when he heard the gasps from everyone else. He knew his eyes went from the weird hazel-green color (more green than brown) to a kelly green.
