Author's Note: So this is my first story, or well, drabble, to start with. I originally posted it on tumblr yesterday, but decided to create an account here as well. Um, I don't own Kuroko no Basket. Or any of the characters. They belong to Fujimaki Tadatoshi.
Warnings: Um... extreme fluffy, and crappy writing. And hints of shounen-ai.
So... on with the drabble!
All in a Message
Fukudo Sodo vs Kaijou.
Or rather, Kise vs Haizaki. It was obvious that the blonde was nervous, from the way he was sitting on the benches in the locker room, his hands clenched into fists, his hair in front of his eyes. It was out of character for him – usually he was showing off the gifts he got from his fan girls and rambunctiously bouncing around the locker room. But right now… he was the complete opposite.
He'd never beaten Haizaki in the past, and he'd taken Haizaki's spot at Teikou because the other had been kicked off the team, not because Kise won it from him – and the other knew it. Despite the confidence the model felt in his teammates, he just wasn't sure if he'd be able to beat Haizaki.
He barely noticed when it was time to head out to the court, and that his captain told him to hurry it up or he'd hit him. His lip twitched knowing that it was most definitely true, and that it would happen if he didn't get up and leave.
However, just as he finally got up, and was leaving, despite not being mentally prepared to actually go out there, his cell phone vibrated inside his bag. Now curious, he fished through the towels and clothing before finding the phone and flipping it open. The blonde's golden eyes widened before his face erupted into a beaming grin, one that his fan girls would love to have directed to them.
Running out of the locker room to catch up to his teammates and coach, fluttering about around them, confidence and desire restored, and his phone – now closed clutched in his hand. The reason now for Kise's happiness was the message.
