"Dude, stop fidgeting. I'll never finish this if you won't stay still!" Finn huffed out a sigh as Kurt fixed him with a glare, rolling his eyes in return.

"Finn, I'm not 'fidgeting', I'm just …" Kurt trailed off, biting his lip.

"Nervous?" He had a feeling that Kurt would get like this. He had been skittish for the last few days, and by the time today rolled around Finn was just about to give him a sedative.

"Something like that. I mean, I'm not so much nervous as I am … excited. No, that's not the right word either- Finn, just let me do it!" Kurt swatted his hands away from the tie and proceeded to fix whatever Finn did to it. "What I'm trying to say is that I'm scared, but in a good way."

"How can you be scared in a good way? Isn't there, like, only a bad kind of fear?" He may be a 24 year-old man with a promising future as the quarterback for the Patriots, but he still tends to have the verbal eloquence of a 12 year-old girl. "Does this mean you don't want to do it? I thought you loved him?"

"I do! Oh god, I do! I love Blaine so much and have been waiting for this moment since I met him, but … I just, I don't know if I can do it." Kurt said, his lip quivering and tears welling up in his glasz eyes.

Finn immediately pulled his step-brother into a bear hug, the likes of which no one has ever seen. He may still be awkward in most situations, but that won't stop him from calming Kurt down.

"What if one day he decides he made a mistake? What if he wakes up and realizes that he can do so much better than me? I couldn't handle it, we went through enough that first year away and our first year together in New York. What if, what if he-"

Kurt was abruptly cut off when Finn tightened the embrace, cutting off his air supply momentarily.

"Don't think like that, Kurt. You are, honestly, the best thing that has ever happened to Blaine. Remember back in high school? He was broken and you fixed him. Hell, he fixed you too. So don't even think for a second that he will leave, because you two are, like, soulmates."

Kurt sniffled and looked up at his gigantor of a brother. "Do you really think Blaine's my soulmate?"

Finn flashed a lopsided grin and released him from the hug. "'Course he is. You two are perfect for eachother."

At that, the eldest Hudmel broke out into a toothy smile and adjusted his tie one last time.

"Besides, he's the only one who could handle all of your quirks. Sometimes you rival Rachel with your crazy ambition."

"Shut up, Finn!" He punched Finn on the shoulder good-naturedly and took a deep breath, swiping his finger across his eyes to get rid of the remaining tears. "And thank you. For reminding me of why I'm here today. Sorry I was crazy there for a minute."

"No problem, bro. You'd do the same for me, right? Now, come on. Blaine's out there," Finn ushered him to the door, brushing his hands down the front of his own suit. He noticed that Kurt's was impeccable and didn't have a single wrinkle, as usual. "We wouldn't want to keep your fiance waiting, would we?"

And with that line, coupled with a single wink in his step-brother's direction, Finn pushed open the doors of the church as the orchestra began to play.
