Her face shows she is calm, but her eyes reveals the fear. Tony's heart skips a beat when she with straight voice says "I'm going to die".

She moves her hands upon the glass and he does the same thing. The only thing keeping their hands from touching is the glass between them.

"No, No! This is not happening. You are not going to die, you hear me?" Tony yells as tears fills his eyes. Ziva shuts her eyes tight as she can feel her heart breaking into pieces. Because she knows. There is no way she is getting out of the box that is being filled up with water. She knows. She knows that this is goodbye. The last chance to feel.

"I love you. I've always loved you. I will always love you" Ziva says sobbing. "Why have we been so stupid? Wasting time. I'm sorry I didn't tell you I love you when I knew I did"

"Hey it's okay. Don't think about it. We have plenty of time. When this is over I'm going to buy you a huge house. And we are going to get married, and have children, and I'm going to hold you in my arms every night."

Ziva is now crying harder as she is told what she always wanted to hear. And it is being told from the person she had always wanted to hear it from.

She could now feel the water reaching her mouth. There is no escape now. No way to run, to hide.

Tony finally catches his breath again and his eyes widen as he realizes what is happening. First she panics and the panic hits him as well even though he is standing on the other side of the glass. Safe. Not drowning. She moves rapidly as she is trying to breath, and with his hands on the glass he finds it harder and harder to breathe.

He feels it as well when water reaches her airway and her first response is to cough and swallow the water. He can feel it as the water contacts her lower airways, and her throat spasms, trying to seal off the path to the lungs.

He can see her throat relaxes after the she becomes unconscious. He knows. He knows that the water is now flowing into her lungs.

She is floating in the clear water. She almost looks. Gracious.

Her heart stopped beating. And so did his.
