The Fruit from the Tree
"For God knows that when you eat from it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil." - Genesis 3:5

A/N: All you need to know is that Crowley's just a snake in the grass. More Dean/Crowley.
The Tree in the Middle of the Garden
"The Lord God took the man and put him in the Garden of Eden to work it and take care of it." - Genesis 2:15
"When you said you were going to bring me to the source of all knowledge, I was expecting some musty old library," Dean snorted.
He looked around at the overgrown, unkept gardens and the dead, twisted shrubs that surrounded them. "Well, this sure ain't no Eden, is it?" Dean muttered.
Crowley scowled at a nearby ancient, withered tree of indeterminate type. He plucked the last remaining dry and shriveled fruit from it, not making any attempt to disguise his moue of distaste.
He held it out in both hands, offering it to Dean.
"Funny you should say that," he smirked.

A/N: A teacher talks to the mother of a new, gifted pupil. In honour of Mother's Day here in the UK. Set an unspecified time after an alternate season 6.
Like Mother and Father, Like Daughter
"...I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God, punishing the children for the sin of the parents..." - Exodus 20:5
The teacher approached the mother and daughter on the school playground. "Your daughter's so gifted, and she's really fitting in. You should be proud."
The girl, tall for her age, with soulful, hazel eyes, and long brown hair stared back from her position on the monkey bars.
"She takes after her father," the mother replied, with an odd, wistful look.
"Is he...?"
"He travels a lot. It's a... family business. We've not seen him for an eternity." She rose from the bench. "Time to go, Eden," she called.
"Well, you have a good evening, Mrs. Winchester."
"Please, call me Eve."
A/N: A sequel to my, non-drabble, story 'Eve'. I had to, the name just clicked.
