DISCLAMER: All of the work below is my own and is not taken.
(this is taking place during the summer of Ginny's last year, Hermione is out of Hogwarts, and working with Snape, on a project)
"You what! I can't believe what I'm hearing." Yelled Hermione , sitting up after lying down.
"It's no big deal. It was just one time. It's not like we're going to do it all the time now. Really, there's nothing wrong with it." Replied Ginny while pacing in her room.
"Well, wait. Let me get this straight. Last night, you and Draco went to the ball and then slept in his room ? Had sex. No condom? What the hell! What were you thinking? You might be pregnant! Ginny! You could have gotten an STD. Oh my god!" Hermione screamed mildly slamming her bedroom door shut so no one could hear.
"Well, you see. When we had our last slow dance, we talked about it. It was all he could talk about. He said he wanted me and he loved me and he'd love me forever if we "did it". So, he said just this one night and then maybe if we waited again for a few more months. He said he doesn't have anything I can catch. He's all clean. I'm on the pill. Relax. It's all good." Ginny explained relaxing in her green bean bag chair.
"He might have lied! If he convinced you to have sex with him, how many other girls do you think he said the same to? Is he even a virgin? The pill isn't 100 positive either. You should have used at least some protection." Hermione fought back with tears gathering in her eyes from the pain her friend was causing her.
"Hermione. I really doubt I have anything. It's not a big deal! Stop getting so hot headed. I knew what I was doing." Ginny said offended.
"Look, just to make sure, I know a place where we can go. It's for girls like you that have had sex and aren't sure what to think about STD's and pregnancy. I promise I'll go with you! I just want to be sure!" Hermione said calmly.
"Fine. Then will you stop bothering me? I know you're my best friend and all, but you're treating me like a baby." Ginny whined pounding her bean bag.
"Okay. I'll pick you up around 10:30 tomorrow. Is that okay with you?" Hermione pondered laying back down and sinking her head into her pillow.
"It's fine. Later on Draco is coming over to have dinner and a movie. My parents are going out of town so they said he could come over just this one time. My mom talked my ear off telling me about what she expected while they were gone." Ginny complained with flames growing in her eyes.
"Cool. Sounds like a deal. Where's Ron this weekend?" Hermione sounded sharp with her words.
"He's over a friend's house. No big brother to bother us!" Ginny explained excitedly throwing her right fist in the air.
"Well, I don't know if you and Draco can be trusted after the other night. What if it happens again?" Hermione decided.
"What do you mean you can't trust us? You wouldn't be giving me such a hard time about this if I never told you about what happened that night. I did though, you're my best friend and we have been for all 7 years of Hogwarts. I thought you'd understand where I was coming from!" Ginny exclaimed outraged at the though of her friend not trusting her.
"I understand it all perfectly; I just don't think your decision was a good one. Look I'll pick you up tomorrow. We'll go and make sure. Okay?" Hermione said exasperated.
"Okay. I love you! I'll see you tomorrow." Ginny pleaded with Hermione.
"Bye!" Ginny finished.
Ginny gently placed the cordless phone back in its cradle. She thought of where Hermione and she might be going tomorrow.
Hermione pressed the hang up button, placed her cell phone on her night stand and also began to think of tomorrow. She gathered her laptop and began searching clinics near their town that might be able to help her dearest friend Ginny.
