Independence Day

Disclaimer-I do not own Final Fantasy XII Advent Children (just wanted to put that)

Comments This one shot is very sweet, short, and sorta random and vague. In fact, I'm going to change it to make it very vague. I just thought I would cook it up right quick. Enjoy and Review!

Tifa walks into the door to her room. (devine theme music from a piano plays)She notices Cloud on her bed sleeping.She turns completely around to close the door silently.

Tifa's room was nice. There was a big window, a queen-sized bed, she had a smallish-medium sized T.V. with cable, a radio, surround sound, a PS2 (for some reason), and a messy desk with a laptop computer.It's theme was summer colors.(mostly blue)

Tifa walked to the computer desk and sighed slightly.

"Look at this mess."

She ignored the mess for the moment and sat down in front of the computer and checked her messages. She only had one. It was from RikuTricon about cartoon network's new website. Just as she clicked on it the internet suddenly stopped working. She didn't really care and checked "no" to not send the problem to the network. She then began to straighten up the mess on the desk. There was also some clothes on the floor that were supposed to be washed today so she was going to put those back into the closet and wash them tomorrow morning.

Just as she was cleaning, she heard Cloud mumble. She looked at him and then swiftly to the window at the sound of fireworks going off.

(cloud) "The window was cracked open to let air in, not the sound of fireworks."

He sat up on the bed. Tifa looked at him and smiled with a quick nod which said she agreed. She peeked out the window at the boys playing with fireworks. She started to say something as she saw one light up a cherry bomb and aim it at one of his friends.

(Cloud) "Dont! Let them have fun."

She stopped and looked at Cloud who looked kinda sleepy, yet alert. She loved the way he curved his eyebrows when he made a serious face. She sputtered a "but", but Cloud silented her. She just stopped and continued to clean up.

(Cloud) "Why are you cleaning up so late?"

(Tifa) "You know me, I always like it decent before I depart for the day."

(Cloud) "Hmph. He turned his face and noticed the Geostigma on his arm. It hurted a little bit.

After the desk was neat enough for Tifa, she cut off the computer and went up to the calendar.

(Tifa) " You know, tomorrow's The Forth Of July. Independence Day."

(Cloud) "Yup."

Cloud looked at Tifa.

(Tifa) "What are you looking at?"

(Cloud) "You. Just looking at how beautiful you are. You're my best friend Tifa."

Tifa looked at him. She has never heard him say anything like that. Sounded like a flirt to me. What's going on? She was flattered. A big boom from a firework sounded off. She looked in shock but ignored it.She turned to say something to Cloud, but noticed him sound asleep.

(Tifa) "Huh...uh."

She just smiled and went into the closet and changed into some comfortable clothes. She tried to find something short sleeved because it was getting hot. The smell of smoke filled the air. She closed the window to cut down on the smell. Then she got into bed with Cloud.

Flames filled the air, on Independence Day.
