Cameron avoided Houses eyes as she stood up to walk out of his apartment. She stopped by the door to put her coat back on and looked at him before moving to leave.
"You didn't just come here to talk about the case" House said as he turned his head towards her
"No, but what I came to tell you doesn't matter" Allison replied
"Allison…"
"No. Don't use my name. Don't start being nice now. I came here to tell you that our daughter is sick and scared. Honah Lee hates being in a hospital bed. She is scared. And you're not there. You're not there and it's your own damn fault. I have done this alone Greg. I don't have a shoulder to cry on. I came here to tell you I am pissed as hell at you"
Cameron slammed the door on her way out and drove back to the hospital. She didn't go to the locker room though. She went strait to the children's ward and smiled as she walked into the dimly lit room. She smiled at the little girl and softly kissed her forehead before sitting down next to the bed.
"I thought you were off tonight Dr. Cameron" Tritter said as he stopped in the doorway
"I'm not here as doctor, I'm here as mother" Cameron replied as she picked up a book
"So why did you stop by Dr. Houses apartment earlier tonight?"
"Following me now too? Wow I feel special. I stopped by to tell Dr. House to take the deal. But I did it for purely selfish reasons. I want him to see his daughter."
"I didn't realize he had a child"
"Gee your brilliant. Do you not notice that my baby has his hair and nose?"
"No. I guess I didn't"
"Well now you know. So do me a favor and leave me alone when I'm with Honah. She thinks her father is a super hero and I don't want to take away that dream until I have too. Sometimes jus the thought of him coming to see her keeps her going"
Cameron pulled the curtain closed and Tritter stared at it for a moment before walking away.
