The Poetic Life of Rose and Scorpius

They say the truest of loves can happen at first sight

However this one took a little longer

It seemed at times a never-ending fight

To coexist, but eventually their love grew stronger

It began at the tender age of five

As they first laid eyes on each other

Diagonally their looks crossed

Though soon lost through the crowd

Still they noticed one another

Unknowing they might be star crossed

Six years later

It happened once again

Yet longer this time their eyes met

Aboard the train fate seemed on their side

Only one booth remained

And fast friends they soon became, ones that would be kept

Age fourteen arrived

Along with its complications

That neither of them had foreseen

For unknown feelings

Began to be felt, adoration

A feeling until then unseen

Timid and scared they hid it away

From each other, which they'd

Never done before, it was quite unlike them

It sneaked up on them

At night as their heads laid

Upon pillows, the walls a universe in between

And though they fought it

The feeling grew stronger

Eventually could not be ignored

And in the fifth year

held in no longer

They shared it, the love was explored

The relief soon gave way to adventure

No more did they wander

With joy their hearts sang, their hearts soared

From here on goes the story

While to each other they hold so dear

For in their short chaotic lives

Things had never seemed so clear

As life goes on, you will soon see

Our lovers find out what it means

To fall in love when you're fifteen

And find out how hard life can be
