Amanda's P.O.V
I lay on the couch, scrolling though pictures on my phone. I huffed as boredom started o hit me. On the other side of the room, Edward, who was looking at his auto-mail, turned his attention to me.
"What's wrong with you?" He asked.
"I'm bored…" I groaned, causing him to smile slightly.
"Well then, what do you want to do?" I thought for a long moment, until my stomach growled.
"Food," I jumped off the couch and ran into the kitchen. Edward only chuckled as he followed behind me.
(Time Skip)
"There's nothing!" I closed the fridge door and went to look back at the cabinets for the 5th millionth time. Edward only watched me, not helping me at all. Finally, right before giving up, my eyes caught on a container. My eyes brightened.
"Frosting!" With one quick movement, I snatched it right off the shelve. Edward only raised an eyebrow at me.
"Frosting?"
"Yea!"
"You're going to eat that, without anything else?"
"Hey, there's nothing else to eat, so why not?" I removed the lid to find a silver cover covering where the frosting should be. I groaned; the container is brand new. Sighing, I grabbed the tab that stuck out and began to pull, trying to get it off. For some reason, the protector would not come off. I grinded my teeth as I pulled harder, trying my best to get it off.
"Do you need help?" Edward asked as he walked towards me.
"No, I got it," I continued to pull. He watched me, clearly knowing I was struggling. Suddenly, the silver protector slipped off, causing some frosting to fly in the air. I winced; waiting for some of it to hit me, but I never came. I slowly opened my eyes, only to freeze. The frosting had hit Edward; dots of it covering his face. He stood there, with bunched fists as I suddenly exploded into laughter. He glared at me for a long moment, before his eyes softened as he began to laugh as well.
"Thanks Amanda," He stated in a joking way.
"Welcome," I grinned. Edward began to turn away, to grab a paper towel to wipe it off. A light bulb suddenly went over my head and I spoke.
"Wait!" Edward stopped and turned back to face me with a raised eyebrow.
"What?" I walked over to him, a small smile formed on my face. Once I reached him, I leaned down and lightly licked off the small frosting dots. Edward only stood, stiff as a rock. Finally, I had finished and pulled away. A light blush formed on my face when I saw his expression. We stood there in silence for a long moment; it was starting to get awkward… I finally went to turn away to grab my container of frosting, until Edward's lips suddenly smashed into mine. I froze, eyes wide for a long moment, before relaxing. He soon pulled away, the tiniest of blushes forming on his face.
"Um… that was a thank you…" He stated. I only nodded as he went to walk away, back into the living room, before he stopped. His head turned around to look at me.
"Don't forget the frosting," Something flashed in his eyes, something I didn't know, but when I saw him smirk slightly, I went stiff. Edward then turned and walked away. I stood there for a second, a little dumbfounded, before giving a small grin and going into the living room. Oh don't worry… I defiantly didn't forget the frosting…
