Alright, let's try this. Hi, I'm JDunks809! So, recently I was made aware that Pokemon Sword and Shield are coming out late 2019. Once I finished screaming my head off in joy, I decided to write this. Basically it's a set of short stories involving my characters from a future series called Champions of Pallet Town. They'll be exploring the Galar Region, and whenever a new trailer comes out, I'll add another chapter using that information. I can't think of anything else I want to say right now so... let's get on with it.

Chapter 1: Grookey, Scorbunny, Sobble.

A blond boy with blue eyes glared crossly, down on all fours.

The Scorbunny glared right back.

"Lucky, I don't care if you don't like sweaters. Summer wants a picture of you in this, so you're wearing it."

The Scorbunny shifted slightly, leaving a burnt footprint on the ground.

"Lucky-"

Lucky sprang into the air, landing solidly on the boy's back and knocking him down, also leaving burns on the back of his shirt. "C'mon, Lucky! I like this shirt!"

A girl who was likely the boy's twin, if her hair and eyes were any indication, simply sighed. "Tommy, I doubt that that's gonna work. You want any help?"

"Sure, Summer. Let's have the girl with the Grass-Type starter help the boy catch his Fire-Type starter!"

"Ask Alex, then."

A boy with black hair, brown eyes, and glasses called over, "I'm not lending you Liz! He's your Pokemon, you take care of him!"

The Sobble in question cautiously poked her head over Alex's leg, and he began absentmindedly stroking her.

Tommy sighed. "Fine. Summer, can I borrow Gar?"

Summer nodded.

"Okay, Gar, get 'em!"

The Grookey hurled himself forwards, already whipping out the stick in his hair-

Lucky bounced into the air and came down on the Grookey's back. The Scorbunny spun around and spewed fire, sending an unfortunate Gar into dreamland.

Tommy groaned. "And all because you wanted my Pokemon to put on a sweater..."

The girl who hadn't spoken yet, with brown hair and green eyes, burst into laughter. "Never thought this day would come! Tommy Prince meeting his match: a fluffy, energetic bunny!"

Lucky at once halted and turned towards her. Tommy chuckled. "He's also quite loyal. Lucky?"

The Scorbunny sprang at the girl, who began screaming as her hair burst into flames. "ALEX! LIZ! HELP!"

Alex chuckled. "Sorry, Emily. He's your problem, not mine."

Yeah, they'll all probably be this short. Just some quick info:

Lucky: Scorbunny, male. Named for the fact that rabbit feet are considered lucky charms, and in the trailer Scorbunny seem to generate heat through their feet.

Gar: Grookey, male. Named after Garfield Logan, the real name of Beast Boy, who is green and has a monkey tail.

Liz: Sobble, female. Named after the lizard in Magic School Bus.
