DM Tears, Tears and More Tears!
Agnes was in Gru's vegetable patch one day when she found a huge onion. But Agnes didn't know what it was yet. She gave the onion a sniff. It smelled very strong. Agnes found she could pull off some of the skin. Suddenly the smell of the onion became very strong indeed. Agnes was suddenly crying her eyes out and she had no idea why, she was perfectly all right.
Agnes ran indoors with tears streaming down her checks like mad. ''What's the matter Agnes?'' Margo asked as she passed her. ''I don't know'' Agnes sniffed, ''I found this strange round thing in Daddy's vegetable patch, and suddenly my eyes were stinging. ''Show me'' Margo pleaded. Agnes led her oldest sister over to the vegetable patch.
Edith followed them wondering what was going on. When Margo saw the onion, she couldn't help peeling off some of the skin. But it wasn't long before she started to weep. Soon she was in floods of tears. ''Let me see'' Edith said peeling off some more skin, and before she knew it. She was in tears too.
The three girls cried their eyes out for a few seconds and headed to tell Gru about the strange thing that was making them cry. Edith handed over the huge onion. ''Gaaah!'' Gru groaned, He could feel tears stinging his eyes now. ''Tim, Mark, Phi!'' he called for his minions, ''Come quick''. The minions soon arrived on the scene.
After one whiff of the onion. It wasn't long before they started crying too and so did Lucy when she came into the kitchen. ''Minions!'' Gru ordered, ''Go and chop up this onion. I know just how to stop everyone being in tears. Some seconds later after a bit of frying.
The family was enjoying hot dogs for lunch with fried onions. So thankfully there was no more tears in the Gru residence.
