500 years later
As jayfeather padded out of camp he noticed something. He was back i. The mountains with the tribe, he padded towards the cave that sheltered the mountain cats. When he walked i. He noticed something was strange, he didn't recognize any of the cats. He noticed a pale she-cat look up at him and smile. He started to walk to her but before he could take a step she bounded over to him and smiled " I have been waiting for you. Rock sent you didn't he?" The she-cat whispered. " Uh, yeah I do t really know where I am or who you are" he gulped that the pretty cat my be a friend of the. Ugly Rock, was that jealousy in his thoughts? Would she fall for that aged creature? " Rock is my father, I could sense your jealousy of him" she purred. "Where am I, can you tell me who you are?" Jayfeather breathed. "You are home. And I, well im Halfmoon an ancient, we are friends we have been for a long time. We're almost more than friends, don't you think?" The cat called Halfmoon purred "Oh yes, much more than friends." He couldn't believe he had just said that, but now it was out and he knew it was true, her sweet scent stirred some ancient memory, and he knew right then and there he could tell you the names of every one of these cats.
