Okay well, Chapter 382 finally came out after it was late a couple days and as soon as I saw the Nalu, I just had to write a oneshot! :D This story is what I, a Nalu freak, thought was going on in Natsu's mind at the moment he and Lucy were seperated. Enjoy and don't forget to R&R!

A lot of crazy things have happened recently but everything was fine because I had Lucy by my side. There was something about her presence that calmed me but at the same time, it made me more tense and ready to destroy anything that dared to harm a friend. I suppose that by now, Lucy has become more than a friend. She's like family to me and I never want to lose her again.
Seeing Future Lucy die made me realize how much I actually cared for Lucy. I'm more determined now than ever to protect my nakama. After Lucy and I had finally reunited, the walls strated moving on their own. I heard Lucy yell out,
"What's going on!? I'm being sucked in!"
We were both floating in the air, being pulled in seperate directions. Dammit, I'm not losing her!
"Lucy!"
I threw out my hand, trying despirately to reach her.
"Natsu!"
She reached back and I could see the panic in her eyes. I kept repeating in my head; I'm not going to lose her! I'm not going to lose her. I won't lose her! Maybe I believed that if I thought about it as much as I could, it would become a reality. I realize now how childish my wish was.
Our hands were reaching and stretching, trying to get a hold on one another. Lucy was literally inches within my grasp...this was it! I could feel the presence of her hand infront of mine when we were ripped from each others reach. I was sent flying down the hall as the walls moves around me. The last thing I saw was Lucy screaming my name as she moved farther away from me. We were so close! Fate was laughing at us once again.
