"Nii-chan?" Large green eyes stared beseechingly into a bedroom doorway. "Are… are you awake?" A pale head slowly emerged from the covers, and a teenager brushed his red hair out of his eyes.
"What is it, Sakura?"
"The… the monsters are back." She slowly tiptoed into his room, and her older brother slipped out of his bed to meet her. He crouched down, and asked gently, "What did they do, imouto?"
"The yellow one was nice to me today… he let me pet his tails and scratch his ears… but the black one scared me. His wings closed in around me and I couldn't get out, Nii-chan, I couldn't get out!" The pink-haired girl's voice slowly increased, and he put a finger to her lips. "S-Sorry."
"How did you escape?" He asked.
"I'm small, so I can move around. But he's so tall, Nii-chan, when he stands on two feet. Both of them are. And… they start looking like people… I don't like it. The yellow one's snout flattens out, and the coal flames on the other one starts to go out. But tonight, the black monster's eyes turned red again and the yellow one had this eye-shadow thing going on and, and the black one had skin-colored wings and Nii-chan they looked like they were people –"
"Sakura!" She whimpered. "Do you want to sleep in my bed tonight?"
"Please, Nii-chan, can I?" The redhead nodded, and the seven year old untied her red ribbon and crept onto the comfy mattress. "It's warm… Nii-chan…"
"Hm." She cuddled up into his side, and the teen pulled the covers over his sister. "Goodnight, imouto."
"Goodnight, Nii-chan!" Closing her bright green eyes, the girl was asleep within minutes. Laying his head on the pillow, her brother stroked her soft pink hair.
"I know you're there. Show yourselves." Two figures emerged from the shadows, and the teen with red hair smirked. "Hello, Uzumaki, Uchiha."
"Akasuna." The blond one growled. He had large fox ears, and nine long tails twirled behind him. Orange markings colored the area around his eyes, which were yellow with horizontal slit pupils. The other had black hair that was naturally spiky, standing up so that it looked slightly like a duck's rear. Crimson eyes stared angrily into bored hazel orbs, three black tomoe orbiting a dark ring around the black-haired teen's pupil. Large dark wings extended behind him as they moved a little bit, sending a gust of wind through the room.
"She's afraid of you. The two of you are doing a great job of trying to take my imouto away from me. I will tell you now, Uzumaki, that I do think you almost had her convinced. Uchiha, however, ruined the moment. Congratulations."
"Don't ever call her that." Uzumaki hissed. "She's not yours."
"Ah, but do you think that she belongs to you?" The duo did not respond, but stared longingly. The blond's eyes had a hint of wistfulness within them, but they were warm too; warm for the little girl he and his partner wanted to take and hold close. "Exactly. You lost her to me, and now Haruno Sakura is mine."
"We'll get her back," The black-haired one spoke quietly. "Kakashi, Yamato and Sai are coming next time."
"Heh, the legendary Team Seven, back for their princess." Akasuna smirked. "But you'll never take her away." He pulled her close against his chest, and the pair snarled and hissed. Black fire erupted in Uchiha's clawed hand as his red eyes blazed with anger and hatred. The redhead kept his smug expression up, and replied to their rage with a response that chilled their hearts.
"After all, she will forever and always… belong to me."
Oh my god this was so bad :/
