Summary- Jade, years after graduation life has changed her. Will she be able to find herself? Old friendships and romance help guide her to the person she once was.
All that could be heard was her black studded heels impatiently tapping on the linoleum floor. She sat on the rim of her bathtub staring at some point in space between the glass and the white stick in her hands until the girl in the mirror caught her attention. Crystal blue eyes was the only familiar feature she recognized, even then so it was hard to tell under the thick gold liner and pink eye makeup. She walked over to her reflection only to meet up with the blank gaze that stared back at her. So much had changed. The girl's pale ivory skin was coated over by fake tanner so many times it completely masked its former shade. She'd let her raven black hair return to its original faded brown, that now draped over her now bony shoulders. She hated it, the reflection she saw everyday wasn't her, it could never be her. Well, at least not again. She blamed it on her ex-fiancée, the record producers, the filming industry, society, her perfect friends, everyone but her. After all Jadelyn West would never let herself become this way. She took a sharp breath as the stick beeped. Taking test into her hands she read the word in front of her. "Pregnant".
