Chapter One: Once Upon a Time
This is a story about a girl with flowing red hair and beautiful emerald eyes. This particular girl started out with a great life; a family that loved her, a best friend, and a future as the next in line for the throne. But that all changed after the girl's mother died. The young girl who resembled her mother so much fell into deep despair. Her father couldn't really stand to look at her anymore. So she befriended a boy from a faraway country. He had golden hair, skin, and eyes and he was quite funny. His name was Jace and the princess soon became really close. However, her father then remarried to a beautiful woman named Aline. She and the girl had a close bond until the girl walked into her father's bedroom and witnessed Aline stabbing her father. When Aline realized that the young red headed girl had seen she immediately blamed her for the murder of the King and had her thrown into a cell. The new Queen was obsessed with status and beauty. She threw many parties to attract male attention and ended up spending all the kingdom's money. The princess was alone in the dungeon of the castle with nothing but her sketchbook to keep her company and she never saw Jace again.
