" Bleeeeeeeeeeeehhhh~... " the dissatisfied sound drags on from the brunette as her eyelids droop down. Jude, with a hand over his mouth, stifles a chuckle at her reaction. Her face was priceless. " Why did you get me blaaaaaaaaaaack... " Coffee was the topic, the brunette was more into cappuccino. Sweet and creamy. Where as the other was more into black.
" I just thought, since you liked it so much last time... " Jude said, as he stifles another. Prior to this event, it occurred one morning when the other spent the night at her place. With his arms wrapped around her waists and the photographer's face buried into his chest. They took their time to get their day started, enjoying the soothing warmth of each other's company. The two live a busy life, that requires them to recharge on each other every now and then. Seeing as how they hold different schedules, Leia even more so.
Classes. Work. Lessons. Photo sessions. Photo shoots. Landscape photography. Developing films. Her schedule was always booked full, it's rare for Leia to get a break from it all but she was fine with that. The brunette love her coworkers, and she loves her freelancing job most of all and it was enough for her to keep it up.
Back to the morning event, the two had sat the table. Enjoying a filling breakfast of eggs, sausage, and toast. They held a typical conversation between the two. Discussing each other's schedules and showing some concern over their well being. Jude to Leia, most of all. On the counter top sat two to-go cups, tightly shut; filled with freshly brewed coffee.
It was about that time for Jude to leave; his classes were usually held in the mornings. Without double checking, he grabbed one of the cups, gave Leia a kiss on the lips, and ran off to class. It wasn't until he was in the elevator that Jude realized he took the wrong one. A single sip, and he thought to himself, ' This is cappuccino...! ' And it only took Leia a sip to make a face and pour sugar and creme into her cup.
Leia pressed her forehead down against the table, as she releases her hold on the cup. She makes another sound, though a bit louder than before before she replies. " No I diiiiiiiiiidnnnnnn't... Juuuuuuuuuuuude... " The smile on his lips never left. Only widened, as Leia whines. He slid forward the cup in his hand and spoke.
" I'm kidding. Yours is right here. Let's trade. " Lifting her chin, emerald eyes direct themselves to the paper cup in his hand. A pout forms on her lips as Leia stares.
" Mmmm... " pursing her lips, the teen showed wariness, " I don't know if I can trust you... "
His expression never changed, the corners of his lips remain where they were. Stretched from ear to ear, the bio technologist spoke in a gentle tone, " Promise. " and it reaffirmed her trust in his words.
" ...Okay. " The two swapped and Leia takes a sip. A sigh of satisfaction followed suit as she smiles, feeling the weariness of the day wash away. Her shoulders fell in ease and Jude, with his elbow resting on the wooden surface, perched his chin on the palm of his hand. " That's much better. Thanks for the coffee. "
And he smiles, oh so kindly, in response to hers that stretch upon her lips. " You're welcome. "
