"Please... PLEASE... make it stop!" She begged as she laid her head between
her knees and covered her ears. Thunder and Lightning boomed outside of
the small hut and Kagome sat shivering in the cold, and with a killer
headache. The Lightning flashed and immediately after, the thunder came
crashing down, as thunder does, on the pitiful hut that Inuyasha and Kagome
were presently in.
"What is wrong with you, Kagome, it's only a little storm." The wind blew right through the many cracks in the feudal age house living area, and Kagome shivered as she crossed her legs in effort to keep more of her body heat with her.
"It's not the storm, it's this headache I have. It hurts so bad, and its light and sound sensitive right now, and it really, really hurts!" Kagome said in almost a wine. Inuyasha really did feel bad for the ningen sitting in front of him.
She had almost nothing on, and was complaining of a headache, but then again, that was a human for you. "Here." He said in almost a grunt, he through his outer kimono to her, and continued staring out in space, it wasn't normal for him to do things like this, and he really wasn't used to it.
"Domo arigato... Inuyasha-kun." Kagome put the outer jacket on and huddled up in it like a blanket. She breathed in deeply smelling the sweet earthy scent of Inuyasha in his clothing. She sighed, and felt a tinge of her headache disappear, not enough though, because as soon as the lighting flashed again, the searing pain struck through her forehead.
"Ow..." she moaned in agony. Inuyasha watched the helpless girl as she proceeded in rubbing her temples to ease the pain.
"That's not going to help any." Inuyasha said, turning away, so he didn't have to look her in the eyes as he spoke.
"Huh...?" she asked opening her eyes and looking at the turned head of her inu boy.
"Here... let me show you." He said, getting up from his spot on his side of the hut and moving over to hers. "You mind?" he asked in an almost decent way.
"Uh, sure..." she said as she made room and sat in Inuyasha's lap. Inuyasha moved her hair out of the way and slowly began working on her neck, he rubbed small circles with both palms on her neck. He worked his way up her neck, creating bigger circles and worked it all the way till the head met the neck. There he worked his way out to her ears and slowly rubbed her ears in a precise method.
"Inuyasha, this feels so great. Where did you learn this?"
"My mother... I used to get really bad migraines, and she taught me this, she said it works out the way the blood flows to the head and allows the blood to circulate better."
"Oh." Kagome said, not used to hearing him talk of his mother. Before she knew it the pain was completely gone, but she wasn't about to have Inuyasha stop the wonderful sensation he was giving her.
She felt him shiver against her back. "Why didn't you tell me you were cold?" she asked him.
"What?! I'm not cold!" he fought back defensively. Ignoring him, she took off Inuyasha's outer kimono that she was wearing and placed it around the two of them. She felt Inuyasha's body heat combine together with hers. Pure Bliss.
Inuyasha kept working the ministrations on her neck and lower head. He knew her headache had long past, but he couldn't get away from her scent, it was intoxicating and he was absorbed with it. He lost track of time and felt his hand go numb massaging her head.
He laid his hands down and looked at her to see she was fast asleep, holding securely onto his coat, as if it were a lifesaver. He smiled down at her and gave a short, "Feh..." Closing his eyes too, he wrapped his arms around Kagome and fell asleep with the words that he would never say to her face when she was awake.
"I love you, Kagome."
