Here, have a silly (quickly done) one-shot about the slickest ninja in the entire Smash residence.

"Almost- there-"

"You are not almost there, Ness, the thing is still twenty feet above you!"

"Shut up, I can dream!"

"Yeah, and that dream will turn into a nightmare when you fall halfway down the trunk of that tree."

"Quiet, TL, you're distracting me."

"I think you should get down too, Ness."

"Okay, you guys, fine!"

Ness half-slid, half-fell down the trunk of the great oak. The Frisbee caught in its lowest boughs seemed to mock the kids on the ground who could not reach it. The branch it was snagged in was about thirty feet off the ground, and there were no other branches to aid them on the way up. Ness had gotten kind of far-ish shimmying up the trunk, but as Toon Link had said and Ness had ignored, it was still much too high up.

"Great," sighed Ness. "Now how're we going to get it down?"

"Uh, we could ask Meta Knight…" suggested Lucas halfheartedly.

Toon Link started slightly. "No way! He'd be all annoyed…what about Pit?"

Ness snorted. "He can't fly, you dolt."

"He can if he asks Palutena."

"Ugh, but that would take too long."

"Better than asking Meta Knight."

"Who can climb really well, then? I mean, Greninja probably…"

"Can't we just get a new Frisbee?"

"I don't think we have any more…" Ness turned to address Villager, who had also been playing Frisbee with them. "Hey Vill, do you know if we have-" He halted his speech, looking around in confusion. "Hey…where'd Vill go? Vill?" The three kids at the base of the oak tree scanned the yard for a moment or two, baffled. Then, Ness heard a rustling on the other side of the trunk of the tree, and Villager's head popped out from behind.

"Oh hey, there you are. When did you get over there? Anyway, we were just…" Ness faltered again as Vill stepped out from behind the tree. In his hand he held the Frisbee.

"What the-?" Ness glanced up at the branch that it had been caught in. There was nothing there. He looked back at Vill, who held out the Frisbee, shy smile still in place.

"Vill!" exclaimed TL. "How'd you get that?" Vill just kind of shrugged. Lucas took the Frisbee from the boy's hand. "Well, we got it back," he pointed out. "Can we keep playing now?"

"Uh…sure." Ness decided to drop the subject and continue their passing game, as Vill didn't seem about to disclose his method.

Being the people they were, the kids devised various creative ways in which to throw the Frisbee to make the game more interesting. Sometimes TL would summon a gust of wind to send the disc shooting through the air. Ness discovered that throwing it up in the air and whacking it with a bat didn't do half bad either. Lucas adopted a strange method of slinging it like a discus, sometimes using his snake to do so. Ness also got the hang of electrifying the Frisbee without damaging it, and gave TL a big shock when he caught it. Fortunately, he still did not drop it, which would have ruined their good catching streak.

Once, TL send the Frisbee shooting high in the air with a particularly powerful spurt of wind. Villager, to whom the Frisbee was being passed, was busy inspecting a caterpillar on the ground with a stick and was not paying attention as the disc threatened to sail high over him and hit the ground behind.

"Vill!" warned Ness. Villager hardly even looked up, but sprang up from his crouching position into a tremendous leap. He snagged the Frisbee with the stick in his hand, spinning it around on the tip as he fell and grabbing it in his hand. He landed on his feet, swinging the disc in his hand. "I caught it," he pointed out brightly, with a light smile. The other three gaped at him, while he simply tossed the disc to Lucas. Ness shook his head. That boy never failed to amaze.

After a few more minutes of passing, Ness tried inconspicuously to replicate his electric disc. His attempt was a success, and he tossed it out casually. Vill, a sparkle in his eye, went after it. Ness looked over at TL, like oops, that was meant for you. TL smirked at him while Lucas watched the exchange of glances. However, when Ness looked back to Vill to see the results of his prank, he simply saw Vill standing in the grass, the Frisbee nowhere in sight.

"Wha- where's the Frisbee?" Ness queried.

"Is it in a tree again?" Lucas scanned the boughs of the nearby trees, but there was not a Frisbee to be found. The three boys exchanged looks. TL turned. "Hey Vill, what did you do…with…" He stopped. Vill, just like the Frisbee, had disappeared from sight. "Where'd he go?"

Ness shrugged. "Beats me." He was a strange character, that Vill. Here one moment, gone the next. "Well, I guess we're not doing any more Frisbee…come on, let's go inside. Vill's probably in there too."

"Give it back!"

Wolf held the hammer higher above his head. "No."

Kirby jumped, waving his stubby little arms, but Wolf just bumped him back down again. The puffball had been acting extremely annoying again, dragging his hammer around doing heaven-knows-what, so Wolf had taken the hammer and was holding it up where Kirby could not reach. It was actually rather hilarious to watch the tiny creature try and take it back. "You shouldn't have been swinging the thing around in the first place," Wolf told him as he shoved him away again, grinning a bit. Just then, something sliced through the air and bonked Wolf in the back of the head.

Doink!

ZAP!

Wolf yelped in surprise as he felt an electric shock arc through him. He dropped the hammer with a loud crash, leaving a dent in the floor of the hallway. He whirled around to see a plastic Frisbee clattering to the floor, but no apparent thrower. "What the-?" Then, he felt a tug on his tail. He turned back to where Kirby had been standing with a growl and received a spray of water in his face. He staggered back and wiped his eyes, snarling with annoyance. When he was able to see, the hammer and Kirby were gone. At the far end of the hall, Villager stood with a small smile. He waved at Wolf before walking off, and Wolf saw something in the boy's hand. He felt his belt where his blaster should be, and his hand closed on empty air. …Damn that kid.

"Wolf," sighed a voice. "Please refrain from taking the possessions of other smashers. You know the rules." Master Hand, who had apparently witnessed the last few moments, floated over to where the soaking lupine stood. "I will call the Villager back to return your blaster as well. Villager! Please come here! Villager!"

"Yes sir?" Wolf and Master Hand both started as a soft voice spoke from behind them. Master Hand turned to see Vill standing behind them, swinging his arms back and forth. Master Hand cleared his, er, throat an addressed him.

"Villager, you know the rules. Now kindly give Mr. Wolf back…his…" Vill was pointing to Wolf's belt. As Master Hand looked, the gun was back in its place. Wolf blinked, apparently not having realized it was already there either. Master Hand, still staring at the recently returned blaster, attempted to regain his composure. "Er, yes, and I also have to tell you, Villager, that brawling outside of matches is also prohibited, and would advise you not-" Master Hand broke off once again, for he was speaking to empty air. The Villager, once again, had gone without trace.

Master Hand sighed. "We are going to need a bell for that child."
