Even though I don't like Omniverse all that much for whatever reason I have this new fondness for Crashhoppoer. I don't know why but I really, really like the guy and I decided to write this. So I hope you guys enjoy.
Disclaimer: I don't own Ben 10. If I did then Omniverse probably wouldn't be in a chibi like art style.
Crashhoppin'
"Catch me if you can, Ben Tennyson!" Captain Nemesis taunted him.
And like that the former superhero flew off into the skies away from the alien changeling and sidekick.
Rook, who's prototool was in its bow form, tried to shoot him down but missed.
"Looks like it's hero time!" Ben announced.
He went through the holographic interface on the Omnitrix before he came upon the form he wanted. The Omnitrix then opened up, revealing the cylindrical column that Ben had become so accustomed to the past six years. Ben slammed his hand right down on the faceplate and disappeared in a flash of green light.
Standing in the hero's place was what appeared to be a giant grasshopper. It had rock hard olive colored skin with little bumps all over it. It wore a green singlet with black lines running across its chest. The Omnitrix symbol was located on the alien's stomach and it had the traditional green eyes of all of the Omnitrix transformations.
"CRASHHOPPER!" The alien announced.
"Are you sure that'll work Ben?"Rook asked. "The optimal choice would've been Astrodactyl or Jetray."
"I don't need a flyer to take down Captain Nemesis." Crashhopper insisted. "I've got this!"
And like that the alien sprung into the air, going after the corrupted hero.
"WOO-HOO!" The alien whooped.
There he goes again;
Springing up into the heavens,
Whooping and cheering as he makes his ascension.
To feel the air rushing past him,
And the bright sun gracing his rock hard exoskeleton.
And then to come crashing down again.
The feeling of gravity dawning down on him.
To hit the ground and not feel a thing,
To gain the perfect footing.
And then to bound up into the sky again.
Trying to reach for his intended target,
But falling short.
But that didn't stop him.
He would spring up into the skies again,
Putting far more power in those legs of his.
Bounding up into the sky again,
Feeling that pleasuring rush.
To zoom through the skies and meet him.
To catch him and to have him crash down along with him.
The scream of shock he let out,
The terror in his eyes as he knew he was caught.
The crumbling of his machinery as he came into contact with his mechanical.
To come crashing down once again,
Only to spring off face first into him.
To feel truly alive,
To feel truly amazing,
To really be,
Crashhopping.
Rook found Ben later and was surprised to see him standing over Captain Nemesis.
"You mean you actually caught him?" Rook questioned the hero.
Ben smirked. "Of course, was there ever any doubt?"
"But how could an exoboundsect catch a man using rockets?" Rook asked. [1]
Ben laughed. "With me anything's possible."
Rook shrugged. "Whatever, let's just put him away."
"Sure thing partner!" Ben exclaimed allowed the Revonnahgander to handcuff the man.
[1] Crashhopper doesn't have a species name so I made one up using the words exoskeleton, bound and insect
I did this because for a time I had such a fascination with Crashhopper he's a lot of fun and my favorite of the Omniverse aliens, even though I don't like Omniverse that much. But yeah, if you enjoyed this be sure to give me a review.
