Mine

"Oh, Freddie!" Marcy, Velma Dinkley's cousin, called flirtatiously. Fred Jones looked up from his newspaper and groaned. Marcy caught up to him, and linked their arms together, laying her head on his shoulder. "Wow, Blondie, you sure are grown up for a 17 year old!"

"Uh, I've got to go, Marcy." Fred lied. "I need to talk to Daphne, about… some, uh, things." He added as an afterthought.

"No way, I'm not letting you go traipsing off to that red-headed, conniving witch!"

"Hey! Don't talk about her like that!" He exclaimed, pulling his arm out of her clinging grip. "Why do you hate her so much?"

"Why do you, like, care?" Now Fred was convinced that Marcy was jealous of Daphne. Maybe she suspected that he liked her?

"Are you jealous or something Marcy?" On that note, he stormed off. Marcy frowned, shrugged, and skipped in the opposite direction.

Later on, Marcy strode into the house, swinging her hips. Everyone turned around and looked at her. Fred was still seething, Daphne raised an eyebrow, frowned and crossed her arms, and the rest of the gang continued chatting. Failing to notice that Fred was annoyed at her, she slipped an arm around his shoulders.

"Hey, Blondie." When that was said, Fred snapped. He brushed her hand off his shoulder. He spun quickly around, and gripped her arm tightly and yanked it forcefully so she gasped in pain.

"Do you ever stop?" He hissed through gritted teeth. "Do you think I even like you? Do you think I give a damn what you do or say or even wear?"

"Well, yeah, cutie…"

"Right, that is IT!" Daphne yelled. "So, do you think Freddie's into you? Do you think he even likes you? No, he doesn't. Because he's mine!" Everyone gasped at this, especially Fred.

"What do you mean, yours?" Marcy laughed.

"Because I love her." Fred whispered. They both turned to him.

"What?" Marcy screeched.

"What?" Daphne whispered.

"Well, uh, prove it!" Marcy commanded. Fred released his grip on her arm, leaving a red mark. Marcy rubbed it.

"Fine." He stated. He gripped Daphne's hand, twirled her around and, without hesitation, forced his lips upon hers. Everyone, once again, gasped. Daphne closed her eyes and wound her arms around Fred's neck. He stooped slightly, not breaking the kiss. He slid an arm around her legs and picked her up, bridal style. They both pulled away slightly, air becoming a necessity.

"Do want to… go upstairs?" Fred whispered this in Daphne's ear, so only she could hear. She giggled and nodded. Fred proceeded to the stair case.

"Like, where you guys going?" Shaggy asked, raising an eyebrow suspiciously.

"Upstairs." They responded in sync.

"Jinkies!" Velma giggled.

"Rupstairs?" Scooby repeated, confused. "Roh!" He got it.

Fred smirked and Daphne chuckled. Then Fred disappeared up the stairs. The rest of the gang burst out laughing at the look on Marcy's face.
