Heyo! So, yeah! I'm not dead! Life's been a little crazy and I lost my muse or plot bunnies or whatever you call it for a long time. I only recently got back into a somewhat writing mood. However, nothing's complete for 'Us' just yet. I have a few ideas with bits and pieces written out, but nothing concrete yet.

No promises either. I said in 'Us' I would try monthly updates. Obviously that didn't happen. So, no promises for any updates any time soon.

This was just something to get the juices flowing again.

So, enjoy!

...even if it's incredibly short...And probably no where near the quality of my other works...just shows how rusty I am...

Important Info:

Dark Pit is called Kuro in this story and all of my stories.

Disclaimer: Nothing belongs to me, except the occasional plot bunny whenever I can find one...

Something Beautiful

Sum: They all helped him. (Drabble-ish)

~ ~ ~ . ~ ~ ~

Kuro was full of hate, anger, and doubt.

He hated their snide remarks, their constant jeering, their loud belittling.

He was angry at their narrow mindedness, at their cheers when he was hit or fell, at their lack of compassion.

He started to doubt his skills, he started to doubt his place in the tournament, he started to doubt his own existence.

He didn't know what to do.

...

Pit did what he could.

Pit gave him love.

Pit loved him for his common sense, his independence, his determination.

...

Doctor Mario did what he could.

Doctor Mario gave him peace.

Doctor Mario gave him peace to deter rash actions, peace to soothe his mind, peace for a chance to be himself.

...

Lucina did what she could.

Lucina gave him faith.

Lucina had faith in his abilities, faith in his spot in the tournament, faith he was here for a reason.

...

Pit, Doctor Mario, and Lucina.

They all helped him stay afloat and eventually rise above.

They all kept his spirit alive and bright.

They all saw something beautiful in him even when he didn't.

So yeah. Just a drabble. Sort of...it's technically over a drabble. How about a Drabble Plus?

Anyway, I need to give Doctor Mario a different name. Typing out Doctor Mario is kinda...annoying. I'll have to think about that.
