Entry One.

The choice to write this journal is one that has haunted me day and night. I know what you are going to do with this information. I know what you are going to have to do to fight Rittenhouse. I know the path this journal will set you on, the path I'm going to start and it terrifies me.
But it also gives me hope.
Garcia Flynn, one day you and I will take down Rittenhouse. You won't recognise yourself at the end of this journey. Neither will I. But never give up hope and never lose focus. We will save the people we love, so long as we never lose hope.
The war starts now. Mason Industries has a time machine and you are going to steal it.
This was inspired by a recent story I read. I can't seem to find it again so please let me know if it was yours! It was a story about the finale, Lucy went to Flynn after Jessica stole the lifeboat and asked him if this was the event that caused her to start the journal. He told her it was no specific event but she did start it mid-2018.
I have been thinking alot about the journal. Did Lucy read the one Flynn has? Will Flynn read the one Lucy is writing? The Lucy in Flynn's journal seems to have less knowledge than our Lucy (for example why lead Flynn to Emma? Why not write about David Rittenhouse?).
This is my take on what Lucy's journal says. I'm not sure if this journal is the journal Flynn has or the journal Lucy will write. I guess we will find out along the way.
