Seth walks into Ryan's pool house to tell him about the news that he has just heard of Trey forcing himself onto Marissa. Seth stands there for a few minutes in front of Ryan, stuttering and trying to get the words out. Ryan's face slowly goes from a nice smile to a face full of anger, whilst still trying his best to maintain his smile. Ryan knows that Seth has some bad news but he doesn't want to believe that.
"Seth comes on. Stop playing around. What's the matter"? Ryan asks, still trying to maintain his smile.
"I – I… I do, don't…" Seth stutters, his words dangling from his mouth. Seth takes a deep breath and then tries to inform Ryan again of Trey and Marissa incident. Before Seth gets the chance to Ryan interrupts. Ryan's face has now completely changed to pure bitterness.
"Seth. Whatever you're about to tell me, I'm warning you…. DON'T TELL ME!" Ryan says.
From what Ryan has just said to Seth, Seth becomes annoyed and manages to find the confidence that he needs to tell Ryan the news.
"Ryan, I'm sure we both realise that you could crush me right now. But one things for sure, and that is that, I see you as my brother; you've become a part of this family. What I'm about to tell you may draw you to want to do things that you don't want to do, but I have trust in you to know that YOU ARE NOT GOING TO DO IT"! Seth shouts towards Ryan.
Ryan takes a few steps backs, and puts his head down. Seth begins to tell Ryan the story.
"OK so, we already know that what Marissa told us about how she got that bruise was all a lie. I guess when we were away, Trey kind of forced himself on her, you know, he tried to attack her".
Ryan looks up slowly to Seth. "What"! Ryan shouts in a deep voice.
"Now Ryan think about what I just said. We're here for you. You do not have to do this"! Seth pleads.
"Seth, I'm only going to say this once. Move"! Ryan shouts anger thrashing from every angle.
Seth moves out the way, and Ryan speed walks down to the car, looking like a man on a mission. He drives down to Treys apartment, kicks the door open, and knocks out Trey He then grabs him and throws him in the car. He ties his hands around the seat and drives down to the river.
Now Ryan is at the river, he grabs Trey and is minutes away from throwing him of. However as he has Trey in his hands, and is hanging him over the river, he suddenly begins to have a flashback of when he was nine year old. His Mom was drunk and wanted some money to gets some drugs. Seeing as to how she was broke she decided to sell Ryan, to this drug dealer she met in the pub. Just before Ryan left Trey (15 years of age at this time) whispered to Ryan that, "It'll be OK". Ryan spent four months slaving away to this guy, feeling as if he was worth only, 200 pounds, and not having anyone to turn to. After four months, Trey had managed to gather 200 pounds together, by stealing any amount of money that he could from their mom, as well as any place that he could manage to get money. Eventually Trey was able to buy Ryan back.
That flashback reminded Ryan of how Trey was always there for him. Tears began to roll down Ryan's cheeks. With his hands still gripped to Treys chest, and Trey still unconscious Ryan rested his head onto Treys chest. Seth as well the rest of the family pulled up against the road, and saw Ryan still in this position. Seth, Marissa, Kirsten and Sandy, all went and surrounded Ryan with comfort
