Monica, Tess and Andrew were sitting at the table and a café and coffee shop. Monica ordered a cup of coffee and a grilled cheese sandwich. Tess ordered a salad and a cup of tea. Andrew ordered a roast chicken and fries. Monica was absolutely glowing
"So did you see him," Tess asked referring to Monica's friend.
"Many times"
"Ha very funny," Tess said rolling her eyes, "but I was referring to today."
"Actually he's joining us for dinner in a few minutes"
"Awesome," Andrew said in a girly tone, "I can't wait to meet your… special friend"
Tess elbowed him sharply, but she was smiling.
"So Monica how did you realize he was the one"
"Well-"
"Yeah Monica how did you realize he was 'the one' and is he as dreamy as everyone says he is," Andrew teased earning a whack on the shoulder from Tess.
"OW Tess"
Monica laughed
"Actually," she said, "He was the first to bring it up. He was like, 'I like you' and I'm like 'I like you too' and he's like 'I mean I really like you' and I'm like-"
"And I'm like I really, really like you and he's like-"
"And I'm like SHUT UP ANDREW," Tess said laughing
"You two sound so like girls"
"That's because we are girls," Tess said, "if we weren't we would as weird as you are"
"Hey I'm not weird"
"So," Tess asked, "how's your assignment going Monica?"
"It's going really well. Dominique is very sweet and Scott worships the ground she walks on. How is your assignment going?"
"Well Mac and Robin are not getting along as well as I wish they would… I know Mac loves his niece but he doesn't know how to communicate with her."
"My first assignment was like that," Andrew said, "he was a good man but he didn't know how to communicate the feelings he was OBVIOUSLY feeling. Unfortunately he ended up suffering because he couldn't express his feelings"
"I remember that," Monica's friend said coming in, "It was a dang shame too"
"Hey sweetpea," Monica said using her nickname for her friend
"Sweetpea," Andrew said laughing, "SWEETPEA!"
"It sounds good coming from Monica," He told Andrew, "from you it's just weird"
