These were the words Yuugi thought as he watch the one person he loved walk away and onto a plane headed for New York to fulfill her destiny. He felt so alone. All his friends have left to go about their life after he had fulfilled his own destiny by sending his other self to the afterlife. He was thinking as he walked to his car after he had left the airport terminal. He never thought that his once crush would leave but he could not make her stay. He just wished her well and told her his heart was always with her. He also wished her happiness and prayed that one day they could meet up again. He had asked one thing that she send him a letter at least every month to let him know that she was alright so he did not worry. He suffered through his heartbreak and one day he will be with her if not in this life hopefully in the next. He watched the plane fly high in the sky with a longing look as he stood by his car. When the plane faded out of sight he opened the car door and got in. The drive back to his apartment was one of the longest. He did not want to go home to an empty his house. You see his grandfather after the pharaoh's departure had gone on an expedition and would not return for a while. Yuugi sighed as he walked into the apartment behind the store. Yes he still lived in the Kame Game Shop owned by his grandfather. He never left, after the pharaoh's departure he never wanted to. He walked into the living room and sat down on the couch and turned on the television. He started to flip through the channels absent mind letting his mind wander. Soon he drifted off to sleep, the remote falling from his hands. After a while, the door to the apartment opened and in walked the girl that was supposed to be on a plane toward New York. She saw the person that meant the entire world to her asleep on the couch. She went over to him and gently shook his shoulder to wake him. "Yuugi wake up I wish to speak with you." Yuugi mumbled in his sleep and tried to roll over but the shaking on his shoulder did not stop so he woke up to see Anzu looking at him. "Anzu shouldn't you be on that plane?" Anzu shook her head, "I wanted to be with the man that I loved." Yuugi's eyes widen. "You love me Anzu?" Anzu nodded her head as she leaned closer and Yuugi meant her the rest of the way as their lips touched in a soft kiss. Yuugi then pulled away. "I love you Anzu Mazaki. I always have." Anzu wrapped her arms around Yuugi's neck smiling. "I love you too Yuugi Mutou with all my heart." With that said they kissed again then lay back down on the couch falling asleep in each other's arms with happy smiles on their faces.
