This is like a crossover, but will be put into the book part of the site, with an original character. I will be doing chapters. Blegh!

Chapter 1

"Rose!" Jake said, smiling at me as he came down the hill towards the courtyard where I was sitting under a tree.

"Jake!" I said, back, getting up to hug him. We were best friends. Hardly ever saw one of us without the other. I hugged him, "How are you?"

Jake laughed, "I'm fine." He yawned, "Tired, though."

"Why are you tired this time?" I asked, sighing and sitting back down under the tree.

"I got in a fight with Luna last night…"

"What did you do this time?"

"Made fun of her and Neville."

"Jake…"

"What?"

"You should know better."

"Sorry, Rose."

"It's alright. Are you hurt?" I asked, frowning. If there's one thing I know about Jake, it's definitely that he is the clumsiest person that I ever met.

"I'm fine, Rose. Really." He smiled at me, "So what are we going to do today?'

I shrugged, "I have no idea."

"Of course not." He laughed and shot a web to a limb on the tree. I laughed at him as he hung upside down. "What?"

"Having fun?"

He nodded, "Yup." He hung there for a while before saying, "Let's go to the lake."

"Alright. But get your butt on the ground." I laughed. Jake jumped down and smiled at me. "To the lake!"

He laughed and started to walk, I walked beside him. "Rose, do you have a boyfriend?"

I was taken aback a bit at this question. I was thoroughly confused on why he had asked that question. I did have a boyfriend, in fact. "Yes."

"Oh… Who?"

"Scorpius."

"Scorpius?"

"Scorpius Malfoy." I nodded.

"Oh…" He laughed and picked me, "I'm so happy for you!"

"Really?" I was very surprised at that. Most people had thought that I was mental and he was a Malfoy. I wasn't sure on how to react. I didn't have a small crush on Jake, though. But he couldn't know that.

"Yes, really!" He put me down. "I'm going to scare him!"

"Please don't!"

"I normally would, but for you I won't." He smiled. We got the lake and I sat by the edge, him beside me. "When do I get to meet him?"

"I don't know." I shrugged.

"Oh…" He laughed.

I was desperate to change the subject, "Jake, how long have we been friends?"

"Uh… three years."

"That's a long time." I said, and it was. But the thing is, we were a year apart. Next year would be my last year at Hogwarts.

"It is…" He sighed, "Rose? How did we become friends again?"

I laughed, "You really want me to tell the story?" He nodded, smiling brightly. "Alright. Well, it was in the Great Hall I think. I was being bullied and I was crying. You walked over to me. Talked to me. Told me everything was going to be okay. It was interesting… But we just clicked." I smiled, looking across the water.

"You always tell it nicely." He said, following my gaze.

"I do?"

"You do." He smiled. Then he gulped and looked at me, "Rose, what are we going to do when you leave Hogwarts, and I'm still here?"

"I-I don't know… I never really thought about it." And it was true. I never really wanted to think about it. Because I didn't want to think about losing the one I loved.
