Chapter 1
*Doctor's POV*
It's been nearly a year since the incident with Torchwood, but it's too hard to tell with constantly traveling in time. I've been traveling none stop since she left me, trying, unsuccessfully, to distract myself. I've traveled to the end of the universe and back and still find myself thinking about her and what happened on the beach that day. I wish I could have told her my feelings before the T.A.R.D.I.S broke the connection between us. At least I know she can be happy with my double. He is almost an exact copy of me, well except the fact she can actually grow old with him. I wonder the adventures they have gone on. I wonder of the lifestyle they live. Does she remember me? Does she remember the adventures we went on together? All the sudden the T.A.R.D.I.S made an odd noise. I lurch into action as everything all the sudden went haywire. What was the T.A.R.D.I.S reacting too? All the sudden coordinates I've never seen before appear on the consul's monitor, 46' apple – 5009' starlight banana24. As the T.A.R.D.I.S hurled through space and time, I clutch the consul for dear life.
*Rose's POV*
I open my eyes and gasp when I see him. For a second I think it might be him then I realize that it was just his copy. Of course, I'm not complaining, he is devastatingly gorgeous; after all he is the Doctor, technically. I am content with my life with Doctor 2 but he's not the real thing.
"Good morning beautiful," the Doctor said with his lopsided grin that I have grown to love.
"Why hello there," I said with a giggle. He slides across the bed and wraps me up in his arms.
"How'd you sleep last night?" he whispered in my ear.
"I don't know, you tell me," I laughed as I turned to look at him. He kissed me lightly on the lips and smiled.
"Well I suppose I should be off to work," He sighed pulling away.
"Aw, do you really have to go?" I pouted. He gave me a shy smile.
"Well that depends," He said sliding back down next me and kissing my shoulder, "Will you make it worth my while?" He teased. I smiled my mischievous smile and rolled on top of him.
"Oh you know I can," I said. He smiled and met my lips with a kiss.
