"Leave me be…" Felicia murmured in response to Kain's intrusion upon her mourning for her beloved sire Raziel.

She slowly made her way over to the black rod iron canopy bed, the one single piece of furniture that occupied her colossal, dimly lit bedroom, not daring to look the older vampire in the eyes, as she fought back the tears of regret that she could already feel stinging the light blue orbs that were her eyes. She felt a taloned hand reach out to gently caress her waist length, golden hair.

"See this, Felicia! Raziel gave his life so that the pillars could be restored, and the balance of Nosgoth thus healed," she could easily detect the gentleness, and attempted comfort, in his smooth British accent, something she had only known from her beloved, "He has healed the corruption."

She stood quickly, knocking Kain's hand from her hair with her own, as she turned to face him. Her eyes were ablaze with anger and hatred, as she regarded the tall, silver haired vampire before. She felt a hatred for him boiling inside of her that she had never quite known. He had been the one to strike Raziel down with the soul reaver. Even though Raziel had taken the form of the old fool Mobius to ensure his death, she still detested and fully blamed Kain.

"Damn it, Kain!" she shouted, her voice laced with venom as she regarded the man before her, pushing him roughly away from her, "Do you not understand! I care nothing of Nosgoth! Without Raziel, my heart is corrupt!"

How could she ever possibly make him understand the pain that filled her heart? From the moment she had learned of Raziel's death, a giant hole resided in the place he had once occupied. She shook her head, sending a few strands of her hair cascading into her thin oval shaped face, as she took a step away from his maker. She could no longer hold back the tears, as they began to cascade down her pale cheeks. Her slender form shook as she choked back a sob. She shook her head, taking another step back, as Kain made another attempt to approach her, arms outstretched, as he regarded her uncertainly.

"Leave me be!" she shouted, not allowing him to come near her, to attempt to comfort her.

Why should he care? He was the man who had condemned her lover to a life of damnation and torment anyway. She leapt onto her bed, burying her tear stained within the silk pillows, longing for nothing more than to be alone to mourn her beloved Raziel. She heard a number of mumbled words, which included a 'difficult', and a 'damned creature'. Though she honestly didn't care what Kain thought of her. Raziel was her only concern, and now he was dead. She closed her eyes, letting her thoughts drift away from pain filled time, and towards the day she had first met her beloved.
