"Just Leave Hermione" He yelled smashing a vase against the wall
"Severus! You're scaring me now!" She screamed backing against the door, tears starting to run down her face
She saw his eyes soften and tears start to fill them, he took a step towards her and she took a step backwards "Please Hermione! I'd never hurt you! You know that" he pleaded a single tear escaping his eyes
"Do I Severus? Do I?" She said shaking her head "I'm not just a little girl anymore Severus, I've grown up and I've fought in a war... I don't trust easily and I chose to trust you, should I though? Should I let you in? Because I'm scared! I am so scared that I'm going to let you in and you are going to leave! Or that you will turn into the old you! I Love You Severus but is that enough for me to stay here?"
"Please Hermione! You know I love you and I would Never do Anything to hurt you! Please Mya! I need you!" A single tear escaped his eye
"I can't do this anymore Severus, I love you, you know I do but I can't get close enough to you emotionally to tell you that... I'm sorry Sev" she said tears pouring down both of their faces as she walked out of the room...
But as soon as the door closed she felt her heart break. She leant against the wall and fell to the ground sobbing.
About 5minutes later she heard the door next to her open and Severus walked out. He looked down at her his eyes shining with tears and said "I would be an idiot to let you get away Mya... I love you so much and I promise you I'll try to change... Please just come back home Mya... Please!" He said pulling her up to her feet
"As soon as I left I felt my heart break... And it hurt like hell! I need to know you won't leave me Sev... If you don't think this is gonna last let me walk away!" She said, still in his arms
It shocked her when he let go of her. Thinking he was telling her to go she took a step back and then she saw him slide down onto one knee "Hermione Jane Granger... Would you mind terribly spending the rest of your life with your snarky potions professor?" And he pulled out a gorgeous ring. It was a silver rose, the stem wrapped around her fingers and had Emeralds embedded into it and the actual rose was silver with deep red rubies.
"Oh My God Severus! Yes!" Hermione yelled more tears escaping her eyes but this time happy tears.
They married 8 months later just before her 21st birthday and sadly Severus died in a potions experiment gone wrong 4 years later. Hermione married Remus Lupin 7 years after his death.
