"That's cute."

The blonde adjusted his glasses and turned towards the doorway. A small laugh escaped him, nervously, shyly. "What is?"

"Your glasses. The frames are too big, though. You look better without them."

"W-well," he stuttered. "Thank you?"

The white haired boy started to say something, but all he heard was a violent yell, calling the other boys name, from out in the hall.

"Squalo! Where the fuck are you?"

The other boy frowned, bared his teeth a little.

"U-um, Squalo," the blonde offered.

"Shut up. I'll catch you later, Dino, alright?" He scowled. As he walked in to the hall, the blonde could see as a larger, darker boy grabbed the other by his white hair roughly.

Xanxus brought Squalo's face close to his and whispered loudly, threatening him. Squalo growled something back as the two walked out of his field of vision together.

Something akin to pity sat in his stomach.

Dino adjusted his glasses at the memory. He sighed at the paperwork sitting in front of him.

"I'm a little bit impressed that you speak three languages."

He turned to the familiar voice, to the slender, dark-haired figure. "Just a little?"

"You should be pleased I'm even that much," he smiled plainly, an itch to fight in his eyes.

"Ah, so I should be honored, Kyouya?"

He nodded.

"Now, did you have a question about English, or Italian?" Dino taunted.

A smirk came to Hibari's face, right at home, as he looked at the blonde. "Well, actually," he began.

"Kyouya!"

There was a small, mental gasp behind the large frames of the blonde. There was a feeling of nostalgia in his chest, and a feeling of foreboding in his throat.

The bleached haired boxing star forced his way in to the room – the childhood friend of the one before him.

"What do you want, Sasagawa?"

"Kyouya," Ryohei yelled, "there's a bunch of thugs on the way home! I want to make sure Kyoko and everyone else gets home safe!" He grabbed Hibari's shoulders, turning him away from Dino.

He didn't tense. He didn't hit him, and he didn't pull away. Hibari simply scowled. "Those who break the rules will be bitten to death," he announced barkingly.

He turned suddenly and left the room, Ryohei following closely.

Dino rubbed his eyes and adjusted his glasses once more, in the darkness of the teachers' lounge. He thought ambivalently of Squalo, and excitedly about Kyouya. A sigh escaped him out loud, as he sat alone.

Something akin to jealousy sat deep inside his stomach.

The end.
I'd like to expand on this. But I probably won't. I have other things to write. XD Maybe someday. (But don't get your hopes up.)

Let me know what you think! :) I personally like this one a lot. Just because I like Dino in glasses
