You just didn't want to believe it either. You felt your heart sink and beat so incredibly at the same time, you were confused as the tears started to fall down your face. You wanted to scream, but you couldn't find your voice as you ran. You felt his presence behind you, but you weren't scared of him, when you were too busy being worried over something else.
You felt the tears just flood down your face as you gasped every now and then, because a scream wasn't possible. No matter how hard you tried, you couldn't stop the tears dropped unto his bloodied body, nor could you ever find the voice you searched so desperately so. You kept shaking your head no, because you knew that this just couldn't be real in the slightest.
You carefully hovered a hand over his face, his shades with some splatter of red on the snow, almost scared to touch him. If you could feel him, and his dead body, that meant everything around you did happen, that this was all real. You weren't ready to come to that conclusion yet, not yet; you believed he was going to get up, show you that ironic pout he always wore, and go back to attack him like the two of you were doing before. Or maybe even another of him would come around and prove to you he wasn't gone.
But he didn't move. He didn't breathe. He didn't appear again, saying everything's okay. His stand still act didn't seem "soooooo cool" to you at the moment. You just didn't want to...
You finally touched his face, your senses now telling you he was cold, and that there was no sign of warmth whatsoever. The small gasps you were releasing earlier started to clump together and collectively, they formed that scream you wanted to release earlier. The tears that you wanted to stop actually did, as you clasped his body and hugged it tight. You didn't know what to do. You just wanted him back.
However, neither of you expected a meteor shower. You both saw the blue sky turned a fiery red, the checkered ground around you both being destroyed. What brought you both here? Neither of you were sure. You just felt like it was the best place to be. However, you didn't guess it to be your soon and apparent death.
As the meteors continued to fall, you each stare at each other, your fear slowly dissolving as you both realize you're not alone. You won't be alone again, not like before.
A meteor comes hurling towards the two of you, and you don't find yourselves to be moving—only your hands entwining. You want to close your eyes, as you felt her hand squish yours tightly. However, that wouldn't last long as you felt her hand slip, your heart quicken in turn. You turn your head to look at her, but she's different now. She stops the meteor, but you stare dumbfounded and confused. She continues to stop the meteors, makes a ship larger and leaves. And you, you just continue to stare as the feeling of loneliness creeps into your heart. You didn't know want to do. You just wanted her back.
