We are warriors of the shadow. We kill for our addictions.
For some it's Greed, the need to want more than they already have.
For some it's a thirst for Power, to be unmatched by others.
And for others it's Lust, the need for the sexual desires they crave.
We take no sides! We follow where our addictions will best be filled
Even if it's to take the riches from the purest of souls or the most corrupted of beings.
Some will do whatever it takes; Kill their friends, their family, or even their lovers.
While some will take the pain of others and turn it into the pleasure they desire.
The prices are always the same. We make sure it's to our demands.
Greed can do many things because everything has a price, even if that price is not cash.
The thirst for Power is never filled. Power is a weapon unknown. It can protect everything we cherish, or it can destroy everything we hold most dear.
Lust is a demon of it's own kind, known to change the delicate person we know into the monster that will do anything to fuel the need for sexual passion that one desires.
All are deadly and powerful for their own reasons.
Would you sell your childhood for that fix, the need for more, even if it kills you or your friends, or even your family?
Would you choose to ignore it because your needs were met?
Would you throw away all that you loved just so you could have more of that feel of adrenalin or the feeling like you can't be stopped, like a God among all others and that the world is at your fingertips?
What lengths would you go to, to feel that sensation, that feeling of pleasure?
Would you let your primal urges take hold and succumb to the desire even if it's your friends, wife, or your lover?
All have their stories, all made from one of many things.
Would your greed for Knowledge or Power or Coin corrupt you?
Would you care for whoever got in your way for it? Would you hide it, or let it be known?
Would your lust for Power of Control, Knowledge, or Sexual Satisfaction change you?
Change you into a monster or a savior? Would you abuse it or share it?
Could you let your needs for that thrill of a feeling change you?
Could you live with yourself if you raped your friend to satisfy that need for pleasure, or would it even matter to you?
All end the same, in a painful and brutal way.
The greed for what you want can end you in the most common of ways, and the most brutal as well.
The power you have gotten the feel of is so empowering that it feels like you can't be touched or killed, and in the end you become foolish and arrogant and ends up destroying you one way or another.
The lust that you can't get enough of will kill you in more ways than one. It will kill all other emotions. It will make you a monster that cares for one thing: SATISFACTION.
I ask you now, would you let yourself be consumed, or would you fight it?
The choice is yours. Now choose wisely because it can't be changed once it's made.
But remember all choices, good or bad, have a price that must be paid, and no one can escape them.
Not even a God can escape such things.
