"You ready to talk about Clare?" I nod. I watch as she flips the notebook close and puts it on her lap. "Begin whenever you feel."
I collect my thoughts for a moment. Where do I start? I sigh and begin anyway.
"Leaving her is the dumbest thing I've ever done
Leaving her happy made a difference
But if Jake is to ever hurt her in any way
I'd comfort her in an instant" I pause for a moment. She nods for me to go on.
"I'm a fighter, never a quitter
But I think it's time to let go
Let's just say 'it's for the best'
Because it truly is, you know?
She looks happy at heart now

Were suddenly erased" Memories flood into my mind.
"Gone. Cut-out. Abolished. Vanished!"
"Eli, stay calm. Breath. Breath in sets." I stand up from the chair.
"How can I! I'm scared she'll do something she'll regret!" Though I just scream at her at the top of my lungs, she stares at me calmly, not flinching one bit.
"What do you mean?" I begin pacing across the room.
"Jake, her new boyfriend

"What about your girlfriend?"
"Imogen! She's not my girlfriend," I scoff. "Please! She's around just so Clare will get jealous and come crawling back!"
"Let Clare make her own decisions and live her own life. How about that?" I can't believe it. Is she serious?
"You're supposed to help me!"
"I am. Eli, it's just some advice."
I say through clenched teeth, "Clare will ALWAYS be apart of my life."
"And what about Julia?"
