Mizu Kaiyo was in the middle of the best day of his life. His mom had finally caved, and let him take the quirk test. Right now they are in the middle of learning his quirk.

" his quirks are in the more simple of sides," the doctor explained to Mizu and Furo Kaiyo. " i call the first Water. He can control and manipulate water. The second is called Gills. He swaps his nose for gills on his throat, allowing him to breath under water"

"You hear that! I'm a aquatic quirk user!" Mizu shouted gleefully to his mom.

"I wouldn't be surprised! That's both your parents quirks!" his mom replied.

"I'd suggest testing out you quirk in the nearby pool. It's 3 blocks north, 2 blocks east." the doctor replied.

Furo couldn't even respond while getting dragged out of the room. 'For a guy with aquatic quirks, he's strong' she thought.

1 hour later….

While testing his quirk, he found out that he can produce up to 3.5 gallons of water, and can control it before it splashes on something. Then he can breathe underwater for 10 mins

(the next day)

Mizu is walking home when he sees a boy getting bullied..

"If your gonna defend him, at least put up a fight!" the bully says. He is a short, blond hair and red eyed boy, who seems to have explosions coming out from his palms. The victim, a even shorter, messy green haired - and eyed - boy defending another kid. Mizu decides to end things quickly.

"Hey, knock it off, blondy!" The 2 boys stare at mizu, and the blondy starts walking to him.

"Oh,yeah? Well who are you, and do you really think you can beat me in a fight?" the blondy says. "Mizu Kaiyo, and actually, my quirk counters yours. Will your explosions work even if your palms are underwater?" The blonde looks shocked. "You really think you can beat me?" he asks.

Very cooly, mizu says " no, i know i can beat you." The blond starts to shove his palm into the boys stomach, but water apears and blocks out the explosion. "Run. Please, before I destroy you." the blode and his goons walk away as the green boy walks towards Mizu.

"Hi, i'm Isuku Midoriya! What's your name?" the boy asks. "Name's Mizu Kaiyo. I'm gonna be the sidekick to the #1 hero!" "wait, wouldn't it be better to be the number 1 hero instead?" Izuku asks. "Well, when you think about it, it's a bit too much to handle. Oops! That's my time. I'll see you later!" Miizu runs home, knowing he'll see the kid again.
