The Sun shined through the window in Isabella's room, the window was half open and the curtains were pulled back. Izzy and her sisters were living with the Malfoy family for "safety" or that is what she was told by her parents. Draco and Samantha had already received their letters from Hogwarts but Samantha was two years ahead of Draco and Izzy so it left Izzy wondering if Draco had gotten his letter why hadn't she gotten hers? She laid in her bed staring out the window; she had been awake from some time now she had just refused to move until she saw her owl fly through the window. It had been at least thirty minutes and still her snow, white owl, Misty, had not flown through the window. Izzy sighed and sat up and moved to the edge of the bed. What time is it? She thought. Why hasn't Draco come to wake me yet? She looked over at her clock, it nine in the morning. Soon Draco and Samantha would be leaving for Hogwarts, obviously Izzy was not getting her letter. She grabbed some clothes and went to quickly take a shower. Even if Izzy wasn't boarding the Hogwarts Express she wanted to wish them luck at the train station.
Izzy quickly got dressed so she could leave for the platform, she was about to go downstairs to travel by Floo powder when she heard an owl screeching. She looked over at her window and there she was. Misty, was perched on the ledge with a letter in her beak. Izzy went over there and took the letter from Misty, as Izzy read her letter she stroked Misty's feathers. The letter was her letter from Hogwarts. A little late, Isabelle thought but quickly packed the things she would need. Samantha had assured her that she would get her letter so they had already bought the school supplies. Izzy quickly went downstairs with her things, her sister Samantha had just gone through. Izzy hugged her younger sister Victoria, who would not join her until next year. "Good luck." Victoria said as Isabelle went through the Floo powder.
