After the greetings, Carter left to go to his room, leaving me and Bast alone in the living room. "Im so glad the gods brung you back!" I exclalimed
"You know," Bast said with a mysterious smile, "The gods didnt bring me back. They have no idea im back in the mortal was one god in paticular. A god who did this just for you."
"Isis?"I guessed
Bast rolled her eyes, "Sadie, you not that dense. Who is one of the death gods?"
"Dad?" Bast shook her head. I could feel my face turning red as I relized who it was.
"Anubis?" Bast grinned "He likes you Sadie. The gods just loves to tease him about it. I know I do."
"Can I go thank him?" Bast smiled again and the next thing i knew, I was standing in the graveyard where Anubis had given me the feather of truth. I looked around and spotted a handsome boy sitting on a grave, a few feet ahead of me.
"ANUBIS!" I yelled, hoping to get his attention.
It worked and he turned around. I figured hee would blast me then he realized it was me. His anger turned to downright suprise.
"Sadie?"
"Its Lady Kane to you, death-boy." I snapped, "Next time, try not to almost blast me to peices with your godly powers."
He blushed and smiled, " I'll keep that in mind. Sorry about that. I assume you came to see your parents."
"Not im herre to see you."
"Why?" He asked, bewildered.
" Im herre to thank you." I said moving closer towards him.
"For what?"
I rolled my eyes. "Oh come off it Anubis. Bast already told me."
Anubis was blushing like mad. " L-Lady Kane, im sorry i didnt tel you, I-I" he kept on rambling like this and I knew I had to shut him up.
I leaned in and kissed his lips. "Thanks." Then we kissed.
