Superboy was aware of everything. Though yes he was as old as the next baby in a pram, it didn't mean that he was stupid. No not at all. He had been taught about human interaction and this did include the enigma of teenage crushes.

He had caught glances of the martian girl look at him coyly and the obvious stares of the blonde girl in their team. After numerous thoughts he had come to the conclusion that these two girls were attracted to him.

He wouldn't reciprocate these feeling of course as that would only go against the rules of teenage angst. A healthy relationship would only help the turmoil of having no father figure to rely on. Plot script could not allow this as it would only hinder the epic moment of acceptance that would come.

But still, Superboy felt something. It was strange. Unknowing. Nothing that the nanny robots of Cadmus had ever taught him about. It weighed in his heart each time his eyes met theirs and how his feelings would rise when they smiled at him. Not like how he felt about the other girl. It was something even though he knew it was wrong and against the angst in his heart, he couldn't help.

Entering his room Superboy pondered some more hoping that she wouldn't be hearing his thoughts now. But he pictured their eyes, their face and the wonderful frame they had. The pain when they ignored him and the joy when they had the slightest touch.

Superboy fell on his bed like a teenage girl thinking of the hot jock on the football team and whispered two words.

'Oh Wally'
