It was a late Saturday in February. Sam was walking to Carly's house. As she was walking, she was mumbling something about Valentine's Day, how she hates it so much. See, this is the Saturday after Valentine's Day, so throughout the week, the couples in the school were so mushy and gross. Even Carly. Sam hated it.

She knew Freddie Benson hated Valentine's day too. But what she didn't know was the reason why he hated it….

"Why, hello Sam!" Carly exclaims. "There is ham in the fridge if you want it, which I'm sure you do."

"Thanks, but no thanks. I'm already sick to my stomach from all the mushy in our school." Sam replies.

"Sam? Not wanting ham? Or food? Quick, Carly, call the hospital!" Says Freddie, who was staring intently at the TV-he was holding something in his hand.

"Haha, what are you doing?" Sam asks.

"Playing my Z-Box 720, why?"

"Why is it in Carly's house?" Sam asks, having the urge to unplug the machine.

"Because I'm playing Angel Battle 3. And because I want to," Freddie replies.

"Isn't that like, rated M-Oh, yeah, your mother! Hahahaha Fred-dork, having to play games at his neighbor's apartment because his mother won't let him."

"Yeah, yeah, whatever."

…

The next day, Sam went back to Carly's house. She found a note on the door saying: "Dear Sam, I have to go out for awhile. There is Ham and Fried Chicken in the fridge. Help yourself to it. Freddie's here playing his videogame again. DON'T UNPLUG IT! Be good. Carly."

"Ugghhh, no…not alone with the dork!" Sam moaned. Ever since they broke up, Sam has been trying to avoid those awkward times alone with Freddie. She went in the door. Just as Carly had predicted, Freddie was playing on his Z-Box 720. He looked up at Sam, who was wearing a T-Shirt with the words "I'm Beautiful" on it. He paused the game, and said "Hey Sam.'

"Hey, Can I play Angel Battle 3 with you? On Multiplayer?" Sam asked.

"Umm, sure, I guess."

"Yayyy-"

"But no cheating!" Freddie warned.

'What ever."

The two played in multiplayer. Sam had the urge to mess up Freddie's playing by smashing her hand to his controller, but she fought against it. Then, she couldn't take it anymore.

"Hey! Sam!" Freddie yelled. "Cheater!"

'Hahahahaah!" Sam laughed.

"You little-" Freddie stopped himself, and started to mess up Sam's controller.

"Hey! No fair!"

"Hahaha!" Freddie laughed.

All of a sudden, they looked at each other. Staring straight into each other's eyes, they both realize what they have been missing; each other. It appears as though the world around them was disappearing. Freddie saw the sparkle in Sam's eye, and remembered the words "I'm beautiful" on Sam's shirt. She is…Freddie thought. He didn't know what he was doing until they both leaned in and lips pressed…

Sam opened her eyes and smiled. The two had just kissed, and sparks had flown. She knew it was time to stop the break up, and get back together again. Freddie seemed to think the same way. "I only hated Valentine's Day, because I wasn't with you," He had said. They smiled once again, as their lips pressed once more…
