I Wish We'd All Been Ready

a certain government in Europe that has currency known as the Euro.
Yeah, I'm a Christian. I'm praying for you as you read this. Maybe
you'll see the light and accept Christ as your Savior. He is the Son
of God who died for your sins, and if you believe on Him, He will save
you from the burning depths of hell and this period of time called the
Tribulation. And if you don't like this, well, tough. I encourage you to flame me. You will only prove to me
that I am doing the right thing. After all, II Timothy 3:12 says,
"Yea, and all that live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer
persecution."
Life was filled with guns and war,
And everyone got trampled on the floor,
I wish we'd all been ready!
"Another bombing raid in the Middle East today-"
"When will this all stop, Mama?"
"Who knows, honey, who knows."
Children died, the days grew cold,
A piece of bread could buy a bag of gold,
I wish we'd all been ready!
"This time it was a local school that was destroyed-"
"Honey, put on your sweater and run to the store. Here's a hundred dollars- we need a loaf of bread."

The Son has come and you've been left behind.
"What's happening, Mama? I got to the store and no one was there."
A man and wife asleep in bed
She hears a noise and turns her head-
He's gone.
I wish we'd all been ready.
"Last night there appears to have been a mass abduction. Police are baffled as to the perpetrators-"
Two men walking up a hill
One disappears and one's left standing still.
I wish we'd all been ready.
"Today it was discovered that all the missing people were professed Christians. Perchance this is another random suicide pact on their part."

The Father spoke,
The demons dined.
The Son has come and you've been left behind."
