"Jessie look at all these Pokemon!", yelped James with glee.
"Yeah that's a lot of Pokemon" said Jessie.
"Jessie is there something wrong?", asked James.
"No" said Jessie, trying to hold back tears.
Jessie hated being a member of Team Rocket. Not because of James and that annoying little Meowth. Secretly she liked James and Meowth was like a little brother. No she hated Team Rocket because of how she came to join it.
It was Christmas Eve and a ten-year-old Jessie had just came home from school. Jessie would had loved to get presents for Christmas, but her cruel father would never let young Jessie be happy. Jessie heard her parents fighting and then she heard a scream.
"Dad leave mom alone!", yelled Jessie.
"Stay out of this you little bitch!" her father yelled.
She saw her father take out a handgun and push the barrel of it into her mother's neck and shoot.
"Get to your room!", yelled Jessie's father.
Jessie quickly went to her room not wanting to make her father angrier than her already was. She got into bed and soon cried herself to sleep. Jessie awoke at midnight and decided she was going to run away. She sneaked into her father's room and got a thousand dollars out of his wallet. Then she quietly sneaked out the door.
"It's so cold" said Jessie, shivering.
Jessie heard something and spun around. What she saw broke her heart. A small Ekans was trapped in a fishing net.
"Awe you poor thing let me help you" said Jessie.
Jessie untangled the net and gently picked up Ekans. The purple snake
Pokemon wrapped itself around Jessie's neck. Jessie walked into a
Pokemon Center.
"Hello how may I help you" said Nurse Joy.
"I found this Ekans tangled up in a fishing net I think someone
abandoned it" said Jessie.
"Okay we'll check on Ekans for you" said Nurse Joy.
Jessie waited patiently for two hours and finally Nurse Joy came out
with good news.
"Ekans will be fine all it needed was some food" said Nurse Joy,
handing Jessie two bags containing Pokemon food and potato chips.
"Thank you" said Jessie.
"Your welcomed" said Nurse Joy.
And that is how Jessie got Ekans.
