The purple eyes looked deep into the light of the moon. The moonlight shimmered on her slim body and bushy tail. Her ears long and fluffy were listening to the blissful silence. Her red stripes were beautifully placed on her body and tail. She had a grin that nobody could match. She then pounced off the cliff and walked to see her friends. When she got there she saw some of her friends. Her oldest friend, the Mad Hatter, was sitting at the end of the table. Her other friend, the March Hare was drinking his tea with a shaking hand. She walked past him and sat next to the Hatter. She picked up her tea and drank it hastily. Hatter was concerned for his friend. He was just about to talk when she disappeared into thin air. She found herself back on the cliff gazing up at the cresent moon. It reminded her of her father. He was the original Cheshire Cat. When he met her mother he instintly fell in love. Her mother was a black Cheshire with red stripes. Her father had grey fur and teal stripes. She died after giving birth to their daughter. Her father raised her for three years, and then one day he was gone. She was raised by her uncles, the Mad Hatter & Grey Rabbit. She stared up at the moon thinking of her family. The cresent moon looked just like her father's famous grin. She laid down on the edge of the cliff and fell asleep.

Somewhere in the distance the first Cheshire Cat sat there looking up at his lonely daughter. He looked up at the moon and thought of two things. The first was his once famous grin, that he no longer wears. The second was the time he met his love and the first time his daughter grinned. He always remembered this day. The day his wife died and his & his daughter's birthday.
