Marinette found herself staring at herself in the mirror, scrutinising every part of her being. She hated when she felt like this. When she felt like she was nothing. She squeezed her eyes shut tightly, thinking of calming thoughts. Breathe in. Breathe out. Her eyes opened slowly, and she struggles to smile at her reflection. No, she wasn't going to let Chloe get to her. She breathed out again, and decides there is only one way to stop Chloe. And although she loathes the idea, she knew it was necessary.
"Tikki, Spots on."
She finds herself at Chloe's home, trying to calm herself before she spoke to the girl. Breathe in. Breathe out. She prepares to knock-
"OH MY GOD! LADYBUG!" She winced as Chloe's screams of absolute delight hit her ears. "Like, what are you doing here? Are you here for selfies?!" Chloe let out a squeal again, moving to hug her favourite celebrity, who held up her hands to stop the girl.
"We need to talk, Chloe. I need to get some things off my chest." Chloe looked up in confusion. "Chloe, you are mean." Ladybug paused. "You're mean, and I'm sorry I'm saying this, but it needs to be said. You bully everyone, even the people you call friends." She let out a sigh. "Did you know you have been the cause of many of the akuma attacks?" Chloe's eyes seemed to widen, and she continued. "I'm trying to tell you in the nicest way, Chloe, without hurting your feelings, to please, please, put others before yourself. You've hurt others, and I think it needs to stop, before you get really hurt, Chloe." She let out a sigh, leaving the girl to think.
The next day, many students found that Chloe had apologized to them, Marinette included. A smiled graced her face, and she knew the message sunk in. Let's just hope this change wasn't temporary.
