He took a puff of his cigarette, the smoke espcaing both of his mouth and nostrils. "Hmm..." His green are carefully surveyed the are around him, it was different from where he was from, lost in time...He took a few steps forward, stepping into the Big Doughnut as it was called. "Hey there!" A young blonde and rather chubby girl, her black eyes going over his large and muscular figure, seeing his dark clothes. His black fringe pushed forward, even though it was kind of like a mane in the back; long, it went to the top of his back, and messy. "Heh, I know it's good to take a load off but could you...?" She nudged an ashtray towards him. His green eyes were half-lidded, he blinked once, "Sorry about that." He obliged, pressing the burning end of the cigarette into the used ashes, putting it out. "You look new here, I'm Sadie, what's your name?" "Dan, a pleasure to meet you Sadie...I moved from Amity Park." It was like he read Sadie's mind, a surprised expression crossing her face. "I've heard that place! Isn't it supposed to be super haunted?" A soft chuckled escaped the back of his throat, he stood in front of the freezers, his large and strong hands in his black jeans. "Lion Lickers? Cookie Cat?" He opened the door, grabbing a Cookie Cat labeled treat, it practically baffled him. "Yeah, they're actually really popular dessert, well I mean, there's only one kid and his friends buy them." Dan walked back towards the counter, his hand holding the ice cream sandwich and then he set it down on the glass counter, pushing it towards her. "I'll buy it-hm?" The door jingled open. "Hey Sadie! Hey Lars!" A familiar happy and loud voice shouted out before it got filled with complete interest. "Whoa! Who are you?!"

"Huh?" Dan turned around after paying for the treat. "My name's Dan, child, who are you?" He knelt down, getting to about Steven's height. "I'm Steven! You bought a Cookie Cat? Cool! I was gonna get one too!" Steven did the exact same thing Dan did, well with more excitement since that's how the half-gem was. He ran to the freezer that held the Cookie Cat sandwiches, he grabbed a couple and practically tossed them to Sadie so that he could pay for them. "Told you," Sadie laughed, Steven now holding a small bag filled with about five Cookie Cats. "How long have you been living here?" Steven asked out of curiosity, the both of them walking on the boardwalk and they both nibbled on a Cookie Cat each, it was the perfect time, not such a hot day in Beach City but it was just right. "Only for about a month now," Dan looked left and right, he did a double take and that's when he noticed the large statue at the other side of the beach. "Hmm...I didn't see that before...what is that Steven?" "Oh that's my house, come on!" Steven grabbed Dan's muscular forearm and lead him towards the temple, Dan's eyes widened with surprise but he laughed and smiled, following him. "This child...he's not normal...but...can't blame him..." Dan followed the young half gem. He quickly glanced down at Steven, he wasn't focused at all and with that, his eyes shifted to their usual dark red, the black lining appearing under them and he flashed a sharp grin, thinking about how to start to have fun in Beach City...his type of fun.
