Chapter 1

Lily wondered if she was doing the right thing using the spell she created, just incase, to fake her own death.

But she couldn't exactly tell James, that she was in love with Severus Snape. He would just freak out.

Because not only was she in love with Severus, but they had been married since the day after graduation.

Perhaps I should back track and explain a bit.

As you have probably figured out my name is Lily Evans Potter, well that's what most the Wizarding World thinks anyway. But it's actually Lily Snape.

You see when I was 14 I started dating my best friend, Severus Snape.

After his mother, Eileen Snape, died, just after we started our 3rd year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. November 6th was the exact date.

And well about a month after that Severus a lot of wizarding money from the Prince family. Not that he needed it really, the Snape family lived very well off.

You see Severus comes from a long line of "Pure bloods" on both sides of his family.

I really and truly hate his pure blood bigotted arse of a father.

You see it's because of his father that we staged an ending of our friendship in out 5th year. We had to make his father and all his "friends" in Slytherin believe that we were no longer friends.

The beatings from his father had gotten loads worse after his mother died. Which makes since I guess seeing as they couldnt really happen during the year since we were at school and his mother was no longer there to fill that time in for beatings. God I hate that man, if you can even call a cowardice idiot like that a man.

So anyway, we decided to keep what everyone else thought was just a friendship, but was actually a relationship, a secret.

Oh I got side-tracked and forgot to tell you how we crossed that bridge from friendship to relationship.

Well those first few months after his mother died were rough for him. Unlike his father, his mother really did love him. She took a lot of abuse from his father for Severus over the years. I met her a few times, she was actually a very nice lady.

Anyway we grew a lot closer in those few months after. And one day we were studying and I was talking to him about God remembers what and my hair fell in my face, it was always doing that, and well he reached over and brushed it behind my ear for me.

Then outta nowhere really as I looked into his dark obsidian eyes I had the strongest urge to kiss him, my best friend.

And you know what?

I kissed that Severus Snape.

It was the most amazing kiss in the world. Atleast to me anyway. His lips were so soft and warm, very enticing. And exilerating.

I assure you.

So that was March of our 3rd year. Two months after we turned 14.

A/n: first few chapters will probably just be Lily explaining how things ended up to be the way they are up until this point.
