Sorry this is so short. It seemed like a good stopping point. Comment if you like the idea.
In case you were wondering, I don't own Grey's Anatomy.
George looked at himself in the mirror. Maybe he was just tired? Yeah, that was it. Well, then, all he had to do was stay in here until it went away.
"George! GEORGE! Get out of the bathroom NOW! GEORGE!" Izzy screamed from the hallway. Meredith gave up a while ago, but Izzy was still persistent.
"Hold on!"
"I've been holding on for the last five minuets! What could you possibly-" She stopped. George could only hope she wasn't thinking- "It isn't another disease, is it?" George groaned. Way to make a bad situation even worse. "Oh, Georgie! I'm so sorry!" she said, but he could hear the amusement behind her voice. She giggled, "Who's it from?"
George yanked the door open to find her sitting against the wall next to the door, still smiling. "IT'S NOT A DISEASE! NOW GO AWAY!"
But Izzy didn't move, she just sat there staring up at him, a confused look all over her face. "George?" she said, much quieter, "Did you just wink at me?" George returned, frustrated, to his spot in front of the mirror. Izzy followed him, still staring. "George?" she said again, "Did you just wink at yourself?"
"No! I just-" he sighed, "I just have a twitch, okay?"
"What?"
"My eye is twitching and it looks like I'm winking at people!"
Izzy tried hard not to laugh, but it was hopeless. "So that's why you've been in the bathroom all morning? This is priceless! I've got to tell Meredith!"
She ran out the door and started down the stairs. "Izzy!" George yelled, "Izzy, stop it! It's not funny!" He chased her into the kitchen where Meredith sat drinking coffee.
"Mer," Izzy giggled, "George has a problem,"
"No, I do-" George started, but his eye began to twitch again. He slapped his hand to his face and ran upstairs while Izzy continued to laugh.
"His eye is twitching and it looks like he's winking at people!"
"He what?"
"It's true!" Izzy said, smiling. Meredith laughed and took a sip of coffee.
"Well, I hope it stops before rounds start, or else some patients might get the wrong idea,"
Izzy giggled and nodded. "I gotta go get ready though, he's been in the bathroom all morning." She turned and headed up the stairs just as George came down, his hand still clamped firmly over his eye. He walked over to the cabinet and got a coffee cup from one of the shelves.
"You know," Meredith said, "It's a bit difficult to save lives with only one hand. Not to mention it just looks silly."
George began to fill the his cup with coffee, but promptly dropped the canter instead. "OUCH!" he screamed as the hot coffee spilled onto his stocking feet. He grabbed a dish towel and threw it on the spot the coffee made. Meredith got up from the table and began wiping the floor while George jumped up and down, holding his burning foot. "Ow ow ow ow!"
"So you plan to administer medical care with one hand when you can't even pour coffee with one?"
George bent down with another towel and helped her. "Well, no, I just-" He stopped when he noticed her laughing. "It's not funny!"
She looked up from the mess on the floor and smiled. "No, George, it is funny," He looked up at her and they shared what was almost a "moment" if his eye hadn't twitched again.
"Dammit!" he said, slapping his hand to his face again as Izzy rushed down the stairs.
"We're gonna be late you two! Hurry up!"
Meredith and Izzy rushed out the door while George stopped to put some shoes on his stinging feet. When he finished, he stood up by the mirror and watched his reflection wink back at him.
This was going to be a long day.
